Yes it will work on a molle rig. ASP has a wonderful press to release clip that attaches over a duty belt

Does this case fit on a molle style vest?

Yes. The attachment system allows you to open it and clip it over a molle loop or duty belt and snap it closed.

How do you open the lock for the belt clip in the back? The little latch does not budge no matter how hard I push it up. Any tip is much appreciated.
