Una gran película dentro del universo Depredador. La fotografía es una de las cosas que más se disfruta junto con el audio. En el Home Theater es una grata experiencia.

PREY, definitely the best standalone movie since the PREDATOR starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Many subsequent sequels were made but were not as promising, rather disappointing for many fans of this franchise. Dan Trachtenberg did a remarkable job not only as a director but wrote the story with Patrick Aison. A time where the indigenous people of America are the first settlers before the whites came and began settling in this land. A period in the story when the first Predator also arrived in this land and so began its hunt for glory. The beautiful landscape and the locations where it was filmed. A remarkable job by The Creature Designers Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr., Director Dan Trachtenberg, Director of Photography Jeff Cutter, Film Editor Angela M. Catanzaro ACE & Claudia Castello and the Warrior, Actor Amber Midthunder. An exciting suspense adventure, action fight sequences at its best and great visual effects to capture every moment. In this 4K UHD format delivers crisp pictures and Dolby Atmos sound that gives you the punch in this disc. A must have copy, highly recommended to be part of your favorite movies in your own Library of Great Entertainment. Five Stars for me! Looking forward to Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands.

Firstly, the 4K disc looks mind bogglingly good! This is one beautifully photographed movie filled with gloriously magnificent landscapes and the quality of the 4k Blu-ray brings all of it out exceptionally well. Now, on to the movie: This prequel is set around 300 years in the past when a predator came to Earth and hunted the warriors or a native American tribe living on the western plains. Amber Midthunder (who I've been a fan of for years) is fabulous as a native American woman who wants to be a warrior and hunter among her tribe. Although this is not strictly forbidden for a woman, it simply isn't done. And she gets a lot of blowback from other members of the tribe who don't believe a woman should be encroaching on what is traditionally a man's territory. To be accepted in this role, it is required for an individual to hunt something which can hunt a them back, such as a bear, a mountain lion, etc. The predator would certainly more than qualify in this regard. The male hunters in her tribe think the creature hunting some of them is a bear, but she realizes quickly that no bear does what this creature does, and insists this thing is something else entirely. The male hunters refuse to listen to this women, who's opinion they instantly dismiss, telling them that that she knows better than they as experienced hunters do. But, eventually, when they come face to face with this predator, they will at last learn that she is right and that this creature is something else entirely, something which they have never before encountered. I was especially impressed that, being set 300 years in the past, the predator's technology, although still futuristic by our present day standards, is more primitive than what we've seen in the other predator films set centuries later. A really nice touch. The action in this movie is pulse pounding, the acting is uniformly excellent, the script is the best I have ever seen in a Predator movie, and the directing and cinematography are absolutely phenomenal. There isn't a single misstep in this above average action film. I couldn't recommend Prey on 4K Blu-ray any more highly than I do . It is an exceptional disc of an excellent film.
