Great product from Bissell
This vacuum really sucks! Does not disappoint when attacking dog hair, dirt, or anything that is in its way. The suction on the handle is fantastic for stairs and furniture. The cost was another bonus as it is nowhere even close to the insane cost of a Dyson and does a better job, IMO. The pet hair also doesn’t wind around the unit. Great investment.

Great Vacuum!
Best vacuum we've owned! Love the performance and ease of use. We have a dog that sheds a ton of hair, this vacuum does a great job of cleaning it up. Light and maneuverable, love the fact this unit breaks down into smaller components. Really convenient for doing our hallway stairs. Been bullet proof in its operation.

Operates better than advertised
Great product, everything written for a description is accurate in their ad and the accessories function better than described. This machine operates extremely well on short, medium and plush carpet because of the suction slide that reduces vacuum so it doesn’t stick to the carpet and can’t be pushed or maneuvered. Being able to turn off the roller brush it works well on tile and hardwood with the brush turned on when on tile it works well with minimal scatter if the vacuum suction slide is closed. Roller brush is always off when the handle is in the upright locked position so it can be parked on carpet when you remove the handle to use attachments without damaging the machine or carpet. With limited space around some furniture in smaller rooms you get the portability of a canister to make life easier. We all have personal preferences but in my opinion this is a great value for a multivac and operates extremely well. A 10+ by my preference.

Buy this as a gift to frustrate somebody who likes to vacuum
More Chinese E-Waste garbage. It's not even good for a $169 vacuum cleaner. It's really really really bad at being a cheap POS. I don't even know where to start. From the design. They opted to place the power cord for the vacuum cleaner directly in front of the rear wheel. Which is super convenient if you're looking to constantly get the power cord wrapped up in the wheel or vacuum head. Super smart. It claims to be adjustable for hardwood or carpets. Unfortunately, it's make-believe. The adjuster switch for carpet / bare floors Is just an air inlet that relieves some suction power for when you are vacuuming on carpet. It doesn't adjust the height of the head so that the spinning agitator doesn't get wrapped up in taller carpets. Nope. It creates a vacuum leak so that the vacuum doesn't suck so hard. Absolutely brilliant. It gives you 1 illuminated attachment that runs on AAA batteries 😂😂😂. That's not a joke. It doesn't get the power for the light from the vacuum cleaner that's plugged into the wall. No you have to buy separate AAA batteries for the lights to work. The 2nd attachment, they didn't even bother putting a light in that. You only need to see when you're using certain attachments. Don't be silly. The debris canister has a giant filter in the middle of it. Great you say? You'd be wrong. What this causes is a tiny little crevice around the filter between the outside housing where all of your dirt is going to get trapped. So when you flip the little button to empty the canister, none of the debris falls out. Because it's all stuck between the filter assembly and the outside housing! You have to disassemble the debris canister in order to empty it. It's almost like they designed this vacuum, manufactured it and nobody tried it. The vacuum head has fewer bristles than I've ever seen on a vacuum cleaner. And they are tucked so far in that you can't vacuum up against the wall. You will leave a giant hairy dirty strip along the edges of anything you try to vacuum because there are no brushes there and no vacuum to suck it up. More e-waste garbage That will be in a landfill in 6 months.

Very happy with my purchase!
For context, we have multiple pets in our household - 2 cats and a long-haired dog (Australian Shepherd). I also have long hair as well. In addition to the shedding, there is a lot of tracking dirt in and out of the house. We have a robot vacuum but it has its limits. We have been very pleased with this vacuum so far. It picks up pet hair out of our carpets and off hard floors much better than our old vacuum. Very satisfying to look inside the compartment and see all the stuff that got sucked up after a run-through. So far we’ve had no issues with tangling up the rollers, which has been a problem with our old push vacuum, the roomba, and our Dyson handheld. Cons: - cord is not retractable, so you have to wind up by hand. Not the end of the world, but retractable is so nice to have and it’s hard to go back once you’ve had that feature - slightly heavier than ideal - could be quieter (but not too bad!) Pros: - powerful suction with adjustable settings (seems to have a regular and turbo, plus a switch for different surfaces) - tangle resistant brush/roller - great for pets - lights up area in front of vacuum - easy to empty canister which has a carry handle when you detach from vacuum I haven’t used the attachments yet, but I have used just the hose detached from the body of the vacuum and that performs nicely on its own. Honestly looking forward to using this vacuum more!

Great Buy
I needed a more portable vacuum to help with my pet hair issues. I am very pleased with this purchase. Great value for the price. It is very effective at picking up dirt and pet hair. Super easy to empty. Easily transitions from carpet to hard wood floors. Attachments store securely on the vacuum and are easy to attach to hose making the vacuum versatile. I would definitely recommend.

We like it, but it could be better.
It really cleans well, and is so powerful you need the suction relief valve when on long plush carpet. The only thing is, once you have had a bag type vacuum, it is hard to go to a non bag cleaner. The bag type cleaners are much easier and less messy to change. The bagless vacuums need to be cleaned out out doors to keep the mess out of your house or garage. I wish it was available with a bag. Our daughter finally replaced her non bag vacuums with bag type. I am considering it.

Great for dog hair!
We have siberian huskies and had purchased the Bissell pet one before and it worked amazing, but by our own faults we had somehow misplaced a few pieces of the vacuum anyhow we needed to find a replacement, after a thorough search we were lead to this vacuum, the details of this vacuum fit everything we were looking for, strong suctioning while using the hose, the handle attachment or even just the floor roller, for dog hair, lots of dog hair, lol, compact but not to compact that it couldn't hold alot in the canister before having to be dumped, detachability so it can go to the car, a bedroom, etc, simple instruction of how to use it, whether with the roller on the bottom turned on or off, where to pull up from for the lift off accessibility, things like that and then we really loved that the vacuum has lights so we can see things being vacuumed before they get vacuumed, this vacuum is great having the cutting ability at the bottom so the dog hair doesn't make the roller stop spinning was an amazing idea, the cutter IS NOT something you could cut your fingers on FYI, the only downfall I really saw to this vacuum is the space between the roller and its casing is very thin so lots of things that could be vacuumed up with a regular vacuum like pistachio shells for instance would stop the roller from rolling and there's not enough space to slide your finger in to push it out, you literally have to take the bottom off to get anything that's slightly bigger out, which I guess you could just use the hand tool for that stuff but I didn't think to, the best part is that Bissell supports dogs so I will always purchase Bissell just for that fact alone but their vacuums are always a great price for the incredible capabilities these vacuums contain in its self alone, between the new capabilities, the power behind the vacuums and the nice sleek designs the Bissell brands are my absolute favorite when searing for a good vacuum
