Choosing the makers own ink is always best.
I have tried the cheaper inks but have come back to using the makers own inks as these give the best results and allow the printer to be fully functional.

Epsom Squirrel Printer Ink: excellent quality
The print quality of Squirrel inks could not be improved. In terms of durability and longevity they far exceed the "compatible" cartridges offered by some companies. The problem is, though, that their terribly exorbitant cost which - Epsom people - deters many potential customers from purchasing your inks.
