Simple, Elegant, and Great-sounding
A little bit on the bassy side of sound, but it's otherwise very high-quality. Music, games, movies, and even calls sound wonderful in it. I can't say the same for the microphone that comes in with one of the cables, as it tended to have a lot of white noise. Otherwise, the microphone was clear and my calls were audible with some noise cancellation, albeit it sucks to need that. The headset's comfortable enough to wear all day, as the cups are soft and the headband is quality. The cable length is great, but I wish it was a tad little longer for my case as my PC is under my desk and the cable barely reaches the headset on my head when seated a tad too far away from my desk. One of the cables also didn't last very long, as I had to switch to the other after half a year(?) of using it. Speaking of which, props to Corsair for bringing a mic cable and a non-mic cable for the headset. I love the simplicity of the headset - pure 3.5mm analog connection and no volume slider to worry about, like most other headphones. The VIRTUOSO was a solid buy.

Terrible Quality.
Terrible Quality for the price. I'm honestly very disappointed in the quality of this headset because I actually enjoyed using it. I thought that because I paid nearly 150 dollars that it wouldn't be such cheap and fragile quality! I have only had this headset for 3 MONTHS and I went to put it on as normal and heard a snap and turns out the headband that goes over the head cracked. The sound quality and the microphone is great but what good is it if the headset itself is weak, held together by cheap plastic. Such a disappointing waste of money. I regret buying and I don't recommend.

Poor quality overall, but still 'okay'
I've had multiple issues with this headset, and it hasn't even been a year since I got it. 1) The cover for the padding which rests on top of your head has pealed away at the edges after only the first few months, eventually leaving the padding completely exposed. 2) After a few more months, the microphone jack connection on the headset became loose and needed constant adjusting, otherwise the microphone or sound from that side would either cut out or not work consistently. Ended up using a rubber band to help hold the microphone up so that the audio issues would stop. 3) Now, more recently, the adjustable parts for the ear pieces started failing, and they constantly fall out and fall apart. It can be slid back into place and reassembled, but when your headset randomly falls apart when you're just trying to adjust it or take it on or off, it gets very frustrating and very annoying really fast. I feel like I need to just glue these 'adjustable' things in place at this point. I really thought I would be getting a relatively decent headset for the price I was paying, but I feel like any potential buyers should try to find a higher quality brand or product if they can. All that said: When it works, it still works okay, and it has decent audio quality. Just keep these potential issues in mind if you decide to purchase.

One of the best open back headsets/headphones!
Pros: Excellent build quality Extremely comfortable Phenomenal soundstage, punchy and tight, accurate Broadcast quality microphone Can be used with or without mic Ease of use Cons: Braided cables allow movement and abrasive noise to pass through into sound and mic Mic Mute toggle is not easy to get to On the heavier side for open back headsets Top padding could have a bit more padding Price is not attractive Needed an(other) open back design headphone for gaming/work. Decided on the Virtuoso Pro because supposedly these were one of the best reviewed open back headset next and similarly compared to the pc38x (which I had). Virtuoso Pros are extremely comfortable, build quality is excellent, and its soundstage is phenomenal. The mic quality is great, they like to say “broadcast quality”, but I will say that heavy breathers and plosives emphasizers, beware because mic is sensitive, but it’s a good thing for sound quality. Speaking of mic sound quality, the braided design of the wires allow more sounds to be picked up, and I thought these sounds from my wires rubbing against my shirt or me touching it with my arm or controller were just passing through into the headphones, but it also passed through the mic and you could wear the annoyances in microphone playback recordings. It doesn’t bother me too much because I have the Virtuoso Pro plugged into my waveXLR which in turn allows me to use my Rode Mic as a dedicated microphone. And VSTs allow me to set thresholds so that sound pickup is limited. I love and need open back designed headsets/headphones. Yes, they allow external noise to leak in and out, but with two young toddlers in the house, I am not afforded the luxury to “block out noise” so it’s good that I can still hear them cry or yell if they need something. I just wished that they were priced significantly lower. $200 is knocking at audiophile territory, but $150, which they are currently at as of writing this review is much more attractive. $100-150 is the sweet spot, only because that’s where the pc38x usually sits at and these two are relatively speaking the best open back gaming headsets.

Aesthetics dont trump quality
Everything under this post is invalidated, as it’s broken twice now. It’s just too fragile. For starters, this headset looks so aesthetically pleasing for its price, quality, and rare white color I was looking for. I havent used the mic, didnt need it My first one broke (one of the earphones broke off because its connecting part snapped off) and I got a replacement and has treated me better since. It’s open back so sound leaks out but even if your household is a little loud, you don’t have to worry. A little fragile and the wire could a tiny longer but I digress Does as advertised otherwise

Corsair Virtuoso Headset: A Premium Sound Experience for Gamers and Streamers
I've had this headset for a few months now and I can say I it's a great headset and worth the cost. The good stuff: *It's a great looking headset first off, it has a elegant look and feel to it, it's very well built, nothing feels flimsy or cheap. *The sound quality is balanced and detailed, although it is a bit strong with the highs. The bass is solid and the open back aspect make it great for a bit of real ambient sound while gaming, it's hard to explain but games are kinda more immersive because of the open back. *The detachable boom mic is great for gaming and streaming, but I wouldn't use it to record quality audio. It gets the job done like most gaming mics but there is room for improvement. The mic is detachable, which should be standard but it's nice that Cosair built it this way. *The Cosair Virtuoso Pro comes with a really nice travel case, it's sturdy and looks good, I'd feel comfortable throwing it in my backpack while traveling for sure. *Comfortable during long gaming sessions, the clamping force is solid but not to tight, even while wearing a hat and glasses. I have worn these for hours during gaming sessions and no discomfort at all, the ear cups are deep enough for most ears and are really soft and comfortable. The not so good stuff: *I'd say the price is the first con, although this is a great headset it's slightly overpriced. I'm going to keep them because I like the look and sound quality but if your a audiophile you could probably find a better headset for a bit less. But if your a gamer who wants a premium sounding headphones with a non rgb look then you can't go wrong with these. *The only other con to me is the cables, the ones that attach to the headset (both mic and non mic ones) have a texture to them that kinda rubs on what ever it touches and makes a dragging sound that is distracting. It's not a big deal if your not moving your head around a lot, but if you move your head a lot while gaming this can be distracting. All in all I really like this headset, I like that it's a gamer headset without the crazy gamer rgb look that almost everything has now. The sound is great and they are comfortable.

Perfect Headset!!!!
I've been using the Corsair Virtuoso Pro headset for months now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best headsets I've ever owned. The sound quality is truly phenomenal the audio is so crisp and clear, making every detail pop. As someone who has always used closed-back headphones, this is my first experience with an open-back headset, and I absolutely love it. The design allows me to hear my surroundings more easily, which is great for staying aware of my environment, while the audio itself has a natural, expansive quality that's incredibly immersive. Despite being an open-back design, I've found that it barely leaks any sound, which is a huge plus. The versatility of this headset is fantastic, as it works amazingly with both my PC and my Xbox Series X. It comes with a mic attachment, which is a great bonus. The mic sounds pretty good for what it is, but for my primary use, I stick with my dedicated PC microphone. The build quality is top-notch, and the headset feels very premium and durable. Comfort is another major highlight. I've spent countless hours gaming and studying while listening to music, and the generous padding on the earcups and headband makes it one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever worn. I can wear it for extended periods without any fatigue. Seriously, every aspect of this headset is five stars in my book. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile audio experience.

Most underrated headset
Tried epos drop pc38x, hd6pro, blackshark v2 pro 2023 edition.. this blows them all out of the water. Mic quality with a bit of EQ is on par with pc38x. It’s clear, no distortions. It lacks warmth but does great at capturing natural tones. (Make sure to use sonar to EQ). directional audio is 10/10. Can’t get better than it for FPS gaming. Great bass if you’re into that. The audio quality for gaming and music is better than any product I’ve tried at this price point. The perfect blend of audiophile and gaming headset. No harshness whatsoever. Most comfortable of all the headsets. Light weight, flexible, clamp force not bad. Ear cups aren’t deep, be aware. It isn’t uncomfortable by any means, but just be aware. They are however very plush and extremely comfortable. (Wicked sells cushions, but I tried those and it changes audio dramatically. Do not invest in wicked here) Cables are replaceable. Drivers are meant to last years, so this is a headset you never need to replace. 5/5 stars is an understatement. It truly is underrated. The only downside (which if you’re an audiophile this doesn’t matter) is no volume scroll wheel. This truly doesn’t bother me, but some people may find it irritating.

Excelente Headset Aberto

Poor quality for price
Purchased as a birthday gift. Within less than 3 months of regular use, both headphone covers completely detached, revealing the underlying foam. I can only assume poor quality of materials and/or construction, really disappointing for myself and the receipient. Quality of product definitely not worth over $200.
