Sturdy & gentle A+ shampoo brush
A shampoo brush like this is my tool of choice when I’m thoroughly detangling my coily hair and this one is far superior to the one I currently use. The teeth are rounded at the top and a bit thicker overall. Making brushing through more gentle and less scratchy. I can tell that it’s sturdy and I might go ahead and purchase a second one so I’m never without. Thank you Kitch for always providing quality hair care items. The only feature I don’t love is the handle that’s twisted on and off, I’d prefer that they had a finger loop that can be flipped up to hold the brush through or clicked down to secure and flatten - just an idea; I would still recommend this item. Also, I have the tangle teezer shampoo brush and I don’t like that one. The Kitch version takes the cake.

Absolutely the best!
If you have an itchy scalp or dandruff and love your head really really scrubbed/scratched, like I do...?...look no further! this is absolutely positively most definitely without a doubt the one for you! Don't like it rough? Don't apply as much pressure! Like it rough you have the option like to dig in there and it feels good. People complaining that it was too hard is the sole reason I bought this one! Just let up on the pressure people it's that simple. All the ones I bought were too soft to me. the Combs would just bend and basically do nothing, couldn't even get the tangles out of my hair. but this one just adjust the pressure!

Great for thick hair
The Kitsch scalp massager is the best one that I have used. It is great on thick and curly hair. It really gives your scalp a good scrub. It is firm, which is what I needed. Other brands that I have tried are too soft. They don’t “scrub” the scalp. This one does what it is supposed to do. It removes product build up, oils, sebum and cleans the hair follicles.

Works well but too bristles are hard and hurt!
I find that this scalp massaged does well as reducing and removing scalp build up/dandruff but it does hurt a bit even without much pressure applied. I believe a strong silicone would be a better option that the hard plastic bristles of this design. But nonetheless does the job so I will continue to use it. Works great at working shampoo and conditioner into your hair as well. Seems a bit cheaply made, but I have dropped it many times and have had no issues and it has held up without any breaks.

Literally love it
Love how this scalp massager feels when comparing it to the silicone ones! It actually feels like my scalp is being exfoliated and stimulated prior to putting in my oils and other serums. My boyfriend loves it, I love it, so tiny, so portable, such an amazing purchase!

Really cheap.
I like Kitsch products, but don't buy this one. This is so janky. It comes in two pieces (that were two different colors, not in a good way), with the handle being a separate piece that you have to screw in to the base. The base is flimsy and the teeth feel like they will bend very quickly. Save your money and buy a good one.

Great for dogs too? Lol
I originally got this for myself, but even with preventative measures, my sweet baby came down with a bad case of fleas. (Side note: PLEASE, for Pete's sake, pick up your dog's poop in communal areas! I live in an apartment where my neighbors do not pick up their dog's droppings-even though the place we rent from has several stations where they provide bags and special waste receptacles-which is how he got fleas.) He did not care for the wire brush we'd gotten him, so much so that he would cower from it whenever it was pulled out, but he still needed a good, thorough scrubbing for his flea bath. I hadn't had a chance to use this tool yet on myself and figured, eh, it was only like 5 bucks, I can order another for myself and have this one for the dog. This worked so well at getting out all of his fleas! He'd had a flea bath before using this tool that worked at getting the adult fleas, but not so much for the nits so it didn't fully get rid of them. This got EVERYTHING. My little dude also has really bad dandruff. I was able to clean and disinfect it after using it for the fleas and now we use it dry to exfoliate him before a bath and also wet in the bath, the same way we did for the fleas, just with a different shampoo. He LOVES it and gets so excited every time he sees us pull it out. Who would've thought a hair care product I bought for myself would work so well on my dog!

Gentle but abrasive enough
Time to replace my cheap plastic scalp massagers from the grocery store I paid 99 cents for many years ago! What's that, most scalp massagers these days have stupid soft silicone bristles? A lot of them have these weird holes and cavities that hold soapy water from the previous shower? I like this one. The bristles are softer than Ol' Reliable but still stiff and abrasive enough to scrape off all that accumulated dead skin, loose hair, and product buildup on my scalp. Hurts my ears less when I accidentally run over them, I suppose. Color contrasts with my hair enough to see when I've gotten the brush completely clean in the shower stream. It does the job. Edit: I've downgraded to 4/5 stars after the handle cracked and it's only been ~4mo. It's not one piece, unfortunately, but the handle screws down in the middle. This allows it to ship flatter, as it's screwed in on the bristle side when packaged and you flip it over before using the product. However, the thread stem that sticks out of top has cracked. It's still staying together enough to be usable for now, but the handle finds itself coming loose easily.
