Sturdy & gentle A+ shampoo brush
A shampoo brush like this is my tool of choice when I’m thoroughly detangling my coily hair and this one is far superior to the one I currently use. The teeth are rounded at the top and a bit thicker overall. Making brushing through more gentle and less scratchy. I can tell that it’s sturdy and I might go ahead and purchase a second one so I’m never without. Thank you Kitch for always providing quality hair care items. The only feature I don’t love is the handle that’s twisted on and off, I’d prefer that they had a finger loop that can be flipped up to hold the brush through or clicked down to secure and flatten - just an idea; I would still recommend this item. Also, I have the tangle teezer shampoo brush and I don’t like that one. The Kitch version takes the cake.

Literally love it
Love how this scalp massager feels when comparing it to the silicone ones! It actually feels like my scalp is being exfoliated and stimulated prior to putting in my oils and other serums. My boyfriend loves it, I love it, so tiny, so portable, such an amazing purchase!

Good for humans and animals! Surprise!
I bought two! The first one I got was so amazing for daily scalp massages, I keep it next to my bed for a nice all over treat. Discovered it’s super easy to clean and also works extremely well with my Maine Coon cat to remove the endless undercoat that mats every summer, I swear I removed an entire other cat each time he lets me run this through looking for mats. Then I wash them with hot water and soap for the next time. Cheap and just sharp enough to feel amazing but doesn’t rip at your hair. Highly recommend!

Works well but too bristles are hard and hurt!
I find that this scalp massaged does well as reducing and removing scalp build up/dandruff but it does hurt a bit even without much pressure applied. I believe a strong silicone would be a better option that the hard plastic bristles of this design. But nonetheless does the job so I will continue to use it. Works great at working shampoo and conditioner into your hair as well. Seems a bit cheaply made, but I have dropped it many times and have had no issues and it has held up without any breaks.

Is this scalp scrubber for you?
As an aging female (78 yo) with thinning hair (comes with aging), I bought this scalp scrubber hoping the stimulation would slow down the thinning process. But, as you will see, it was not a good idea in my case. I tried using the scrubber the day I received it. I was careful and started out with a slow and soft scrub on my scalp. It seemed as though I was pressing too hard as it was hurting my scalp, so I re-grouped and started over, this time even softer and slower than the first try. Shortly into this attempt, I realized that I was not going to be a candidate for this scrubber, as the pain on my scalp was sending me the message "stop, now". I did just that. After checking my scalp I realized there were NO scratches. Further, I do feel that I am NOT a good candidate for this scrubber because of the fact that my hair has thinned too much. The idea in stimulating one's scalp is another option in keeping one's hair and scalp healthy, but I'm past the point of having a good, thick head of hair. I think it's worth a try for all of you out there who have a "good, thick head of hair" I am not able to use this, but if you are one with a good head of hair, go for it. I gave three stars as I rated the scrubber and not the fact that I have thin hair. It deserves a fair rating under these circumstances.

Great for thick hair
The Kitsch scalp massager is the best one that I have used. It is great on thick and curly hair. It really gives your scalp a good scrub. It is firm, which is what I needed. Other brands that I have tried are too soft. They don’t “scrub” the scalp. This one does what it is supposed to do. It removes product build up, oils, sebum and cleans the hair follicles.

It looks good!
Well I haven't used it yet but it looks good. Yes it does. It's sturdy yet soft. I expect goodness from this. Thank you!

Gentle but abrasive enough
Time to replace my cheap plastic scalp massagers from the grocery store I paid 99 cents for many years ago! What's that, most scalp massagers these days have stupid soft silicone bristles? A lot of them have these weird holes and cavities that hold soapy water from the previous shower? I like this one. The bristles are softer than Ol' Reliable but still stiff and abrasive enough to scrape off all that accumulated dead skin, loose hair, and product buildup on my scalp. Hurts my ears less when I accidentally run over them, I suppose. Color contrasts with my hair enough to see when I've gotten the brush completely clean in the shower stream. It does the job. Edit: I've downgraded to 4/5 stars after the handle cracked and it's only been ~4mo. It's not one piece, unfortunately, but the handle screws down in the middle. This allows it to ship flatter, as it's screwed in on the bristle side when packaged and you flip it over before using the product. However, the thread stem that sticks out of top has cracked. It's still staying together enough to be usable for now, but the handle finds itself coming loose easily.
