I bought this after replacing about $1000 worth of fried computer hardware after a lightning strike on a television cable during a storm. Easy to use, easy to install, but we'll see if it actually works. All in all, if it works as advertised a very cheap insurance policy.

This item brought my network to a complete stop. My computers think they are connected but access to each other or the internet was nearly nonexistent.
