Review: Nice quality kit - I haven't used it yet but unpacked and tested operation. Seems like this is much beefier than other solder kits and is packaged well. Needed something that is more portable because I do a lot of structural wiring where a outlet for a wired device is not always available. Update: I used this the other day and now wonder why I didn't get one of these ages ago! The quality of the kit is very good and I'm not afraid of it starting a fire in my shop as with some other cheap kits.

Worst thing I have bought in a while, I got it months back but just got around to using it today so I’m sure I can’t get a replacement. It won’t light on its own and when you turn up the gas flow it is very minimal, hardly any flame. If I turn it down to 3/4 open the flame goes out, it has to be at 100% to keep a flame. As you could imagine it takes for ever to get hot enough to melt solder and cools so fast that you can’t really use it once you do get touch a piece of wire! NO GOOD!!!!!
