Large 16CM Natural Granite Pestle and Mortar Spice Grinding HERB Crusher Grinder Paste

This Large 16 cm natural granite pestle and mortar is attractive in a black and speckled finish. The whole thing is quite heavy and being heavy the mortar stays in place and the pestle makes light work of grinding.Cleaning may be a small issue as the set is a bit porous and tends to stain when heavily coloured spices are used such as Turmeric.Definitely a must for me when making stuff like Thai curry pastes. The set makes short work of coriander leaves.Good value.

Decent for grinding anything, haven't had any problems using it for cooking. Nice and heavy so feels quite like one of the more expensive ones, but it's still nice and cheap.The only problem is mine came with a chip around the top, but it doesn't affect its use and for the price, I can't really complain.

Loved it. Both the inside of the mortar and the bottom half of the pestle are rough so it grinds stuff really well! It is also very deep so spices, nuts, garlic, ginger, chillies do not spill. It also has a very large grinding space for its size (i.e. no unnecessary weight). It as a simple and clean design. It is cheap and arrived very quickly as well. Cannot recommend it more if you need a good sized mortar and pestle for everyday cooking.

This mortar and pestle is really high quality. It's a good size and a decent weight so is good for grinding small and large quantities of dried or fresh herbs and spices. It has a Matt finish inside the bowl and on the end of the pestle, and a polished finish on the rest. Feels solid and is a delight to use. It's perfect and I don't say that about many products.

Very solid and heavy as you would imagine being made of granite. My wife found it almost too heavy and strained her hand at one point when lifting it. We both found it a bit of a hassle grinding spices or flax seeds like this and ended up buying an electric alternative that is frankly a lot less work.

Brilliant little tool for ppl who love to cook. i used it for various things and it crushes everything very well.On thing i dislike is that when i am crushing stuff it tends to jump out of the container and i have to keep my hand wrapped around to keep it in. i wish it had inward edges toward the top.

I was so happy when it arrived. Arrived promptly and was well packed. I bought the granite one, great quality,heavy so it doesn't move when you are using it. And looks very stylish in my kitchen. Love it and recommend it

Beautifuuly crafted piece of kit. Good, solid mortar, smooth on the outside, mildly rough on the inside and an easy to hold and use pestle with good weight.! Superb item.
