Why doses it not work after not useing it over the summer months ?

Mine has no heating anymore, lights yes, purchased end of 2019.

Can this go under a desk? My tv unit is a repurposed desk and I would like to put the heater in the footwell but won’t if it’s a fire hazard

I should think it would be safe to put this fire anywhere as no exposed heat bars, everything comes from behind the door except control dials, lonely use mine for log affect but I have tried heat and I must say it's very good 👍 I do hope this helps, but I'm no health and safety expert...

How do you get only the light to work with no heat?

Just kick the light switch ( left hand one, and make sure the dial is turned up left dial) Other two switches are for heat.
