I REALLY like these socks because they fit like a glove, go higher up my ankle, they do not stretch out or slip down/slide off. They are very soft and comfortable .. and I love the bright colors with the gray. I am a diabetic and have to protect my feet at home - especially while wearing open toe houseshoes/slippers . I also have other circulation and thyroid conditions and my feet get cold. These were a life saver when Texas had a statewide power outage and unprecedented below-freezing temps. Since these socks are not bulky/loosely woven/scratchy sweater type, I can actually wear two pairs in cases like this. I only wear them while home - which is usually 24/7. I do not know how well they hold up in a washer or dryer because I handwash them (since I moved to an apartment without a w/d and am old and disabled so it is hard to get to the laundry rooms here. ) I also do not want to LOSE these socks in a w/d. There are enough in the package to last quite a while - but I hope when the time comes to replace them - that these socks will still be available.
