Bandai Hobby - Gundam Wing - #38 Gundam Epyon, Bandai Spirits RG 1/144 Model Kit

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. This Epyon model is awesome. Its details and colors are absolutely perfect, but be CAREFUL with it, it's fragile. At least, it is for me. It's the kinda model you'll want a good action base for. Seeing its massive beam saber, the Epyon shield and the heat rod (which you can bend, and it comes completely assembled for you, (thanks Bandai!) are awesome and in general this kit was very well made.. it looks even more amazing with panel liner. It was a LOT of fun to build. Just be careful with wings falling off, arms completely falling off and thigh/hip breaks because of uneven hip and leg levels. But all this aside it is an amazing kit.

My experience is in line with the online reviews - this kit is excellent. Some of the stickers are nearly impossible to get right, but they're not essential. No loose joints. Panel lining on dark colors is easy. Even though it is pricier than most RGs I think it's in line with the quality.

My son loves this. He said it was well worth the wait. It was a challenge to put together, yet satisfying when it was done.

RG Epyon is beyond any doubt a top of the line gunpla kit. Aesthetically, color separation is on point, it's overall looks are simply fantastic and has some of the best light piping yet in gunpla. The build its also a lot of fun, though some small pieces may be a little tough to deal with for beginners. Articulation is great, not only is it highly posable but the build is sturdy as a rock. Just a great kill all around.

This kit felt great to build, not too difficult and came out looking great. The transformation is simple and doesn't compromise the rest of the model kit like the RG Zeta Gundam. The kit looks slightly different from the anime, but the changes look good (little dragon mouths on the feet that can open when in flight mode, slightly different wings, etc.) Great color separation too. The heat whip of the kit also comes as one pre-molded piece which makes it so that you don't have to tediously assemble each section of the whip, makes the whip feel stronger, and easy to set in dynamic poses by rotating pieces of the whip. Accessory-wise the kit only comes with a beam saber, shield, and heat whip; but that's because the Epyon didn't really use anything else so it wouldn't make sense to include a rifle or other handheld weapon. Comes with a large sticker sheet for adding additional superfluous details, although the piece for the eyes is color correct which allows you to skip applying those annoying eye stickers if you choose which is a nice bonus.

Bandai have done my all time favorite Non-Universal Century mobile suit absolute justice with this RG offering. Ever since I first watched Gundam Wing growing up, I've never seen a mobile suit outside of the Universal Century or After Colony timelines to come close to the Epyon. It's also been my favorite RG build since I first got this kit the year it came out. Fantastic articulation, engineering, and the pre molded MS joint tech that was used for the inner frame of the earliest of RGs being used for the heat rod whip was genius. It works out more solidly than multi segmented, solid plastic ball joints as was used for the 2013 MG EW Epyon. I love the light piping in the head after its built. I've had no need to use the included eye foil stickers when I can just stare into its fierce visage with a light shining through the back of Epyon's head. I *love* light piping! The cherry on top is the amazing mobile armor transformation. I'm a huge sucker for dragons which is why I was also immediately drawn to Epyon back in the days of watching Wing growing up. 5/5 best RG imo.

Very fun and rewarding build. All the parts are stable and there’s incredible detail in the model. Theres lots of posability especially if you have a stand. My first ever real grade gundam super impressed.

Kit so good made me cry twice Ok jokes apart this is generally a good kit, it's looks cool,is good quality and has better articulation than most of the real grade kits put there. One downside bandai show have added water decals in such an high quality kit

Got this as a surprise for my friend. I just picked the coolest one tbh, but it's now his favourite. I've sent it built and it does look fantastic

A qualidade do plástico e da montagem são incríveis. Tudo encaixa perfeitamente sem nenhum esforço, a separação de cores é linda demais e fazer poses é super divertido. Único porém são os adesivos, que ficam aparentes no vermelho escuro e não fica tão bom, mas nada que um topcoat não ajude.
