Do they come with spare laces?

I've ordered 6 pair and none of mine did. They do come laced though.

Do these make a slapping sound against the floor when you walk?

There is no 'slapping sound' while walking.

Is there any cushion?

Cushion is minimal, as the point of barefoot shoes is to feel the ground and use your feet muscles. These are great for that.

Are these shoes free from animal products? The back patch looks like it may be suede.

I am not sure. There isnt a ton of information on the tag inside of the shoe other than the size. I can tell you that they are very comfortable and have turned into my favorite pair of shoes, In fact I'm wearing them right now
