I bought this and their other items individually (Hawthorne strainer, Japanese Jigger, bar spoons, and dasher bottles), but later saw they sell them all in a bundle, though it looks like there currently isn't a "discount" for doing so. Anyway, it sure is Boston Shaker, not too much to say. Solid, gets VERY cold on your hands when filled with ice, and seals perfectly. I've already made many drinks with it and the seal has only broken the 1 time I dropped it when trying to flip it in a cool way, lol.

When we started learning how to mix our own cocktails we wanted to get a Boston Shaker versus the single cup shaker set we had. Most of our cocktails we now stir but these cups help to make the drinks cold very fast, they are very easy to clean and after a couple of months of use they are still shiny. It does take a couple of tries to learn how to couple the two cups to shake without leaking so I recommend trying with water before filling them with expensive liquor only to have them end up on the floor. You get the feel of how they should fit together quickly. They were reasonably priced and I think they will last us decades, I even dropped one and there's no dent or scratch on it. I highly recommend this product.

I got the weighted/unweighted combo. It seals nicely and feels solid. I'm new to Boston shakers, so getting these to separate requires a bit of twiddling. But I haven't found it to be a major problem. What is more of a problem is that the tops of these tins are very thin and sharp. Like cut your hand sharp. I haven't used other shakers, so I don't know if this is a common problem. I do know I have to be careful with these.

Arrived securely packaged. I have purchased a number of items from this company and am never dissappointed. It is sturdy and consistently makes the shaking process easier. It is heavier, so fits your hand securely. You will have to tap a couple of times after shaking so that top will release (Hence, no leakage). Looks great on my bar cart and is used frrequently. Cleans like a dream. Bonus, with ice, keeps your cocktails really cold. Cheers, and happy shaking.

Been using these tins to replace my old barfly sets. They feel fantastic after a while. Cocktails shakers are like shoes where you gotta break into them. They're still standing strong after 3 month of heavy use with a really good weight distribution, good looking finish and are pretty easy to open. At that price point they are by far the best on the market right now.

Arrived on time, well packaged, exactly as described, works well. May be a bit more expensive then others but I wanted a replacement shaker and not a set. Happy with the product.
