YEs, it is a great value for the money, and yes it is certainly giftable, and yes it is sturdy, but mostly it is cunning and cute and it works and it sounds great and the ones I purchased (2) with a French theme are going to be the best birthday gifts ever for my Francophile sister-in-law. I am so glad to have discovered these wonderful music boxes!

This music box is lovely, very cute, very well made, a really wonderful gift!I bought the one with the Eiffel Tower for my niece because she is fascinated with France. Unfortunately when I bought the box I didn’t pay attention to the melody. I got so excited when it arrived, but when I played it, I realized that it was not the song I had in mind for my niece. I contacted the seller, who was very, very nice and accepted returns. I was able to find the same music box with the melody I wanted at another website. In the end I paid more than I have planned, but it was worth it: my niece loved her music box.

This little music box is adorable. And I appreciate the care that somebody took to create it. I wanted to include it in a little display of French things that I have on a shelf. But it is so much smaller than I expected so I am not sure what I will do with it.

I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas. She is obsessed with all things Paris. It was so precious when it arrived.Much like a gift of days gone by. We love listening to the music and the pictures on the outside are great I feelany would enjoy this gift.

I bought this for my Granddaughter, she likes Paris anything. She loves it! My daughter said it sounds and looks beautiful.The reason for my 4 stars is 1, it has to be wound, wished it just played. 2nd, I haven't seen it or heard it yet. Seems to be a big hit for a 13 yr old!!

This is such an unusual item, antique-looking and the hand crank sets it off nicely. The french song is the finishing touch. The recipient loved it.
