This is very much a complement getter. The first 30 minutes or so before it dries down, it is quite a harsh fragrance. Especially the lemon. But once you pass this is opens up and to me is a nicely balanced citrus scent with the lemon and pineapple top notes but with the birch keeping the sweetness under control. It projects very well and lingers after you have left a room. Even though it is an eau de toilette one application at 8:00 lasts easily through to 21:00. Very, very impressed.
