Superior quality, thick and sturdy, does not leak.
I was given these bags by the suppliers for an unbiased review, just want to make it clear that this really is a genuine personal review. I have also personally purchased more of these bags as they were so good!Firstly and most importantly the quality of these vacuum bags are far far superior than any you would generally find available. I have used many vacuum bags purchased both online and from the high Street which seem cheap and budget compared to these. The plastic is 110 microns which is very thick yet allows for some movement which is really important when the vacuum bag shrinks. To give you an idea of what 110 micron is compared to the standard bags, think of it as the type of plastic bags that heavy nails are sold in. As a rough approximate this would be at least five times thicker than a standard vacuum bag.All Edges are bonded with 10 mm heat sealed joints not just folded over plastic. The opening is made up of two tracks of seals which you push together to form an airtight closure. Basically the same principle as in zip lock bags you get for food. To help you a “plastic closer” is provided which you squeeze between your fingers and run along the seals thus forming a firm closure. As an added benefit the little plastic runner stays on the bag so as you do not lose it. The opening is on the long side of the bag so as to make putting contents in much easier. Some of the cheaper bags have this opening along the short side making it far more difficult to take contents in and out. This bag is fully transparent allowing for easy identification of the contents. If you would prefer a bag with decoration then the supplier also makes a bags under the “Neusu” brand name so please have a search for these. So to operate this bag it’s fairly simple. Simply place neatly folded clothes or bedding etc into the bag, I would suggest not to overfill the bag. They use the plastic runner to seal the bag and just run your fingers along with firm pressure to make sure there is a good seal. Next unscrew the valve, place the nozzle of your Hoover onto the hole. Watch in amazement as the air is sucked out and the bag shrinks around the contents slowly compressing them. Once all the air is sucked out simply screw tight the valve and you have finished. After the air has been sucked out the bag becomes very rigid and tight around the contents. Depending on the type of material put into the bag, the saving in size can be quite dramatic. For example a duvet can literally reduce in size by half. Shirts and tops at least also half the size.I have tested these bags now for well over a month, there has been no sign of leakage at all. My previous budget bags bought from a well-known catalogue retailer exhibited leaks within the first week. Naturally a vacuum bag that leaks is fairly useless. So the construction and quality of this bag totally warrants a slightly higher price tag. However the savings made in time and hassle totally outweigh the extra cost of the bag.If you have never used a vacuum bag before then you will be amazed at why you hadn’t purchased one previously. The space saved is really quite staggering, especially with larger items such as duvets and bedding. If you are like me where space is limited and you keep duvets for guests then this can be a real lifesaver! As an extra bonus not only do you save space but also the bags when vacuumed are far more rigid and easier to store. Far less painful than firefighting with duvets that burst out from every shelf or drawer!I would totally recommend these bags, they really are far superior than the budget models available out there. The manufacturers have really put a lot of effort into the quality and longevity of this product. Instantly you will feel the quality and the thickness straight out of the packet. I’m sure they will last for many years. As an aside there are two variants of this product.Neusu - brand range, with the floral pattern.“Stupidly Helpful” brand - Heavy Duty vacuum bags which are fully transparent without the floral pattern.

Amazing Quality & Amazing Size
These bags are exactly what we need for our bedding. They are HUGE. We had recently bought similar types of vacuum bags for what we thought would help us with our house move. However when it came to it they were a waste of money - poor quality and not always the size indicated. So when we saw these advertised (and five of them) we deliberated for a few seconds but then thought ‘why not give them a try’. We’re so glad we did. They are perfect. We have a few quilts (both summer & heavier winter quilts) to transport. Trying them out for size because we’ve not moved yet we found we can get a couple of quilts in each one. Just don’t over stuff them and they do their job perfectly. Although many might think they’re expensive they are definitely worth the money.

Brilliant bags, great seller
The bags themselves are thick and a lot better quality than cheap bags we have had in the past. They seem like they are a lot more durable than cheap versions. Of the 5 bags that came in the pack, 1 was punctured and is leaking air when packed, however the seller quickly and promptly sent me replacements and has been brilliant to communicate with.Since writing the original review we have been camping and vacuum packed our bedding for the car journeys. The bags are spot on. Spending the extra money for better quality was well worth it. Despite tight packing in transport the bags didn't split or break.

Strong, large and does the job
I ordered these because my previous bags had all failed this year and were no longer airtight. I wanted something that would take king sized quilts and they do (although with the one it was a bit of a struggle at first. I've only used 2 of the bags as I intend to take 2 to use abroad. The air came straight out of the first bag as I don't think I'd sealed it properly so I started again and was more careful to press the seals together well before I slid the clip across (I think this is probably important to note for anyone like me who has quite weak fingers) the bags have reduced well in size and two weeks on no air has got in and the vacuum remains. So far I am pleased with the quality and they appear to be working well. I've given 4 stars as I want to see how the others work and I will happily review this when I've used all the bags and they've stayed sealed for a longer period of time.

Great for storage or packing
To prospective buyers: Overall, I'm happy with these bags. Bags are sturdy and high quality. I bought both the large and medium sizes to assist with packing for a trans-Atlantic move. Helpful tip - make sure you have thoroughly sealed the zip. You may need to go over it a couple of times with the provided clip; this will make all the difference in how much air can be sucked out of the bag (tight seal = maximum air out). Also, I put an itemized list in each bag before sealing it. But then, I'm anally-retentive. You might be more casual about your packing/storage and enjoy the surprise later when you release the air and see what's inside. To the manufacturer: With the multi-packs, I don't think you need to include a separate sealing clip for each bag. Maybe just one clip per package? Instructions were thorough and easy to follow, but difficult to pry out of the packaging.
