How can I enable this mode?** A: I have found that light automatically switches between smart day or night. I own both the seemee 200 and 300 and I ride early morning before sunrise until after sunrise. When I select the brake mode by long pressing the power button until the light illuminates solid and then I select the mode I want; the light will automatically turn off the optitracing light after sunrise and be in day mode. The optitracing light only illuminates in night mode. **Q: Can the mount fit my aero seatpost?** A: Yes sir. Also a seat mount is available if you have a bontrager seat or a new specialized. It feels solid and the "Smart Brake" sensor is actually responsive rather than just a gimmick.The Support Experience:I ran into an issue where my original unit (purchased June 2025) would show a full charge but refuse to power on. Contacting Magicshine support through Amazon was a bit of a back-and-forth—there was some initial confusion about charging cables and a slight delay due to the Chinese New Year holiday.However, once I provided video evidence of the fault, "Hannah" from their team was very helpful. They quickly arranged a replacement from their UK stock which arrived in just a couple of days.Verdict:Hardware issues can happen with any brand, but Magicshine actually stood by their 1-year warranty and fixed the problem. Frustratingly, the same issue happened with the poor-quality seat post mount. The mount snapped and the light fell of during a ride, never to be seen again. I would avoid this light and consider buying alternatives. I certainly wont be ordering from them again.I have been pleased with the quality and birghtness of the light. The 300 Bike twilight comes with a clever seat post mount, which gives a really secure fit. Unfortunately the quality is poor and the mount has broken on a recent ride, resulting in the light falling off my bike and suffering minor dents.Given the price point I would expect more quality from the mount and fittings, and a better service from the manufacturer. Since the light is only 5 months old and has been used infrequently during the winter season, I reached out to see if they could send me a replacement.
