When this tool is used to pump out the air, it will produce pressure to the nozzle, which will help to pump out the tiny impurities, so as to solve the problem of the nozzle clogging problem

**Q: does this work with hp officejet pro 8620 (used all the time, but started having color streaks)?**
A: I don't know about the 8620 but it worked great on my L7650. Getting all of the ink clened out of the funnel when you are finished charging the print head is a problem unless you use a needle on the syringe to back flush the deep columns in the funnel.

**Q: does this work with hp officejet pro 8610 with streaks and black not showing at all?**
A: I'm no familiar with the 8610 but if the adapter fits the head, it should work OK. Be sure to wear rubber gloves as the process can be a bit messy. The deep wells on the funnel are pesky to clean completely when you are finished.
