Sorted out my 40-year old Pioneer cassette deck very nicely. It had been in the eaves of the roof for thirty years (marriage, dog, kids etc.) and, although it still worked upon rescue (amazingly!), the sound was a slightly muffled and the transport was a bit sticky. Didn't hold out too much hope BUT this fixed both issues. Deck is now as new, albeit middle-aged. Had to buy some more cassettes (Stones and AC/DC of course) to celebrate (bar two. my old batch had not survived..).

Mon commentaire se porte sur le produit et non sur le vendeur. Pas de changement dans la qualité du son même après plusieurs passages, ce qui me laisse penser que le passage d'un coton tige avec de l'alcool est largement suffisant pour un nettoyage de tête de lecture de l'appareil audio. Achat inutile...quelque soit la marque.

These things used to be dirt cheap, but I guess rarity has allowed the inflated price. On the plus side, I can’t argue with the results. One run through a retro computers’ tape drive and it was again loading tapes that before the cleaning it refused to do.

Bought an old mid 80’s hitachi 3D sub woofer double tape deck at the car boot for £5! It was covered in dirt and moss. Played a couple of tapes and sounded muddy and muffled. Cleaned it up and bought this cassette head cleaner. Night and day. Sounds absolutely great now. Ok this cost me twice as much as the actual machine 😀. But yeah Defo recommend this as it’s made it sound brilliant
