I had read reviews about it being noisy but carried on regardless as I thought it would be a hit - it was. For all those reasons. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, due to it's sturdy nature it is going to last forever and going to have to be handed down to their cousins one day when I have had enough of the noise!
