Microsoft forced my hand and now I'm tethered to my computer.
I blame Microsoft for forcing me to buy these headphones. I used my Bose NC700 wireless headphones at work for four years, but after a Teams update from Microsoft, they only emitted static. I could listen to Spotify with them but couldn't use Teams effectively. Since I depend on Teams multiple times a day and our IT department gave me cheap, uncomfortable headphones that hurt my ears, I had to find a better option. After some research and consulting with Microsoft, I'm now stuck using wired headphones until they release an update that fixes the issue. I started looking for headphones comfortable enough for all-day wear. With large ears, I needed something that stays in place even when I move around my desk. I chose the JBL Endurance Run 2 wired headphones after my research. They don't work with my Samsung S22+ because it lacks an aux port. The sound quality is good for wired headphones, and the microphone has a button to pause music. These earbuds are simple and practical, though they lack volume control. They are much more comfortable than the cheap over-ear headphones provided by IT. They come with two different ear tip sizes for a better fit. There’s no tuning the sound through the headphones. No app for adjustable tone. Just straightforward in-ear headphones. Am I happy that I am now tethered to my computer? NO! However, I now have something comfortable with better sound than the cheap over-ear headphones that hurt after 10 minutes. JBL is known for quality products. For the price, these are a great value.

The Sound Quality is Much Better than 4.5 Stars
I can't believe the overall review on these earphones averages out to a 4.5. Maybe it's because athletes were expecting these to last forever, or have a tendency to do things that put a lot of stress on the cord, or it's ends, or they're getting tons of sweat or rain inside them. My perspective on these, I've probably tried at least 20 different corded earphones, and I'm talking premium name brands, plus the same with earbuds and headphones. I guess you'd say I'm always on a quest for the best, and sometimes for the lowest cost. For $20, I think these are the best. When I purchased these I wasn't expecting much. I've tried the JBL 110, JBL Live 100. For what they are, they're ok. I just did a side by side comparison with those, and these, playing specific songs I like, gave the best overall balance of tone, with much higher volume than those other JBL's, and enhanced dynamic presence on each song, as if I was hearing the song live in-concert. The drums and cymbals, the bass, the guitar, and the vocals, were all incredibly balanced, crystal clear with no distortion, incredibly present as if the band was right in front of me, and that was for studio recorded songs. I think one of the biggest problems with earphones achieving all the above, is partially related to how well they seat deeply in your ear, and remain that way. Most earphones don't achieve that but these do, and they do it extremely well. I had been thinking about these earphones for months, and kept talking myself out of buying them, due to the reviews for them only averaging out to 4.5, I typically won't buy anything on Amazon unless the review for it is over 4.5. Plus, I almost didn't buy these because I thought since they were for running, excercise and for active wear, that maybe the sound quality made certain sacrifices, compared to other JBL earphones. Not buying these would've been a huge mistake, they're not only the best sounding JBL earphones, they're the best earphones of any big name brand that I've ever tried, and I own some that cost way more than these. Now my plan is to order 2-3 more boxes of these, because JBL does have a tendency to stop making certain earphone models. As for the grade I gave this, I'm giving these a 5.0, because for $20, the sound is incredible, so incredible, I would've been willing to pay at least $50 for them, and still been happy with my purchase, the sound quality is that good. I've spent a lots of name brand earphones and this $20 pair puts an end to my earphone tone quest, I'm getting more of them as back-ups Now for the 4.5 reviews on here, and athletes or those that exercise and use these, I'm guessing with your phone in your pocket, and jumping up-and-down, twisting and turning, and putting stress on the ends of the cord of these, and stretching it out too far, or getting the inside of the earphones contantly wet with sweat or rain, yeah maybe they do stop working after a while, so what, they're only $20. If I was an athlete and purchased these for $20, and was exercising daily, and stressing and pulling on the ends of the cord, and drowning the inside of them with sweat or rain, and they stopped working after a few months, I wouldn't care if I had to buy another pair every few months, the sound the provide is incredible for $20. Stop whinning, suck it up and buy another pair if you're abusing the cord everyday. And if you're looking for something with a lifetime gurantee that's indestructible no-matter-what, and sounds this good for $20, please let me know when you find it. So whether you exercise or not, I dare you try these and say the sound they provide isn't worth $20. And if you find a pair that does sound better for $20, please let me know.

The Best Earbuds I Have Ever Used
I was really getting fed up with earbuds that didn't stay put and that sounded screechy on high volume. But I also didn't want to pay nearly half a hundred dollars for super good headphones/earbuds, especially since I'm on a tight budget. Thankfully, with these babies, I didn't have to drain my bank account. They stay put in your ear and don't come out unless you really give it a hard yank. Normally I'm not a fan of the suction cup earbuds, but these are so comfy and lightweight you don't even notice that they're in your ear. That'll be helpful for when I'm listening to music while doing dishes or folding laundry. The sound is extremely crystal clear and doesn't sound screechy at all, especially at high volumes. What I also really like is how the plug is designed with a diagonal side, so the wires won't pinch as easily. These beauties are worth every dollar. I'm never buying another brand EVER AGAIN!!!

Solid earbuds
Maybe the most comfortable in earbuds I’ve ever owned. The design is such that they fit firmly into my outer ear but the plastic is quite soft, not hard, so no irritation. You do have to make sure that you have the correct Bud in the correct ear as the design is very specific for each. The sound is good but a bit muddy compared to another set I have but that set is uncomfortable and the buds fall out. 1 star off as it’s not 5* sound quality in my estimation. Still, the sound quality is quite good, good enough for the gym. I bought a 2nd set as backup I like them so much.

Love this so much!!!
As always my favorite JBL never fails. The quality of sound is amazing. The color is perfect. Size is perfect, worth the buy as always. I love the magnet back, I use it for my computer and my table stand are metal/iron so I just attach it to the stand, so easy to put away. Always a great quality product. I'm Never ever using other products again.

Ranked 2 out of 4 sub-$20 wired earbuds tested
[***UPDATE after six months of using both the JBLs and the Marleys (I returned the others): SOUND: The Marleys have consistently better sound than the JBLs across music genres -- crisper highs, deeper bass, and a fuller spectrum overall...in fact their excellent sound quality rivals some much pricier earbuds I've had and doesn't disappoint in any way. BUILD: The JBLs' design is better suited for use while exercising, being outdoors, etc. They're water-resistant and can endure a lot of jostling before they dislodge, and the magnets are a handy feature for storing, so there is definitely a role for them. That said, the build quality of the Marley pair punches well above its price point and with the woven cables, wood-capped buds, etc. has even a bit of a subtle luxe feel to it. SUM: If I were to choose just one of these, it would be the Marleys. I'd pay $75-100 for these and still feel that it was a good value. (Don't get any ideas, Marley folks...)***] I compared four low-cost (under $20) wired in-ear earbud sets: JBL Endurance Run 2 House of Marley Smile Jamaica Skullcandy Jib Lodos Omnitone I listened to pieces from four contrasting genres that I enjoy, represented by: Heart "Magic Man" (rock) EBTG "Wrong" (techno) Coltrane & Hartman "My one and only love" (jazz) Ginastera "Estancia Suite: Danza Final - Malambo" (classical orchestral) On each of these pieces, I rated each earbud (1-10) separately for clarity of treble, depth of bass, richness of middle, and overall "fullness" of the sound spectrum. The aggregate results for sound quality were as follows: 1. 7.9 Marley 2. 7.6 JBL 3. 7.4 Ludos 4. 6.7 Skull Some individual observations about sound: None of them had much trouble with treble (not surprisingly). Marley & Ludos were the clearest, producing a crystalline "sparkle" across all genres, especially Rock & Jazz, but none of the earbuds disappointed on treble. The biggest differentiator was bass: Marley & JBL produced noticeably deeper bass than the other two, especially the Skullcandy. Although they were not especially good on Classical (scoring better only than Skullcandy), the Marleys were fantastic for Jazz; JBLs were very strong as well. Marleys were best for both Tech and Rock -- although the sound they produced there didn't surprise me as much as it did on Jazz -- with JBLs being second for both. Build quality for both the Marleys and JBLs is both very good -- I'd even call the Marleys "fun," given a few thoughtful and tasteful elements they added -- with the JBLs gaining an edge due to water resistance, fuller mounting construction that allows earlobe to carry most of the weight (= more comfortable) and magnetized buds that will help minimize clutter, risk of getting caught on something; my only build suggestion would be a 90 (not 45) degree plug to minimize exposure to getting hit. Ludos construction was decent, just not quite to the level of the other two. Skullcandy build quality is certainly adequate for a $10 pair of earphones. I am keeping both the Marleys and the JBLs: Marleys for use in home/office, JBLs for exercise/outdoors/travel.

Husband gives rave review
Very sound proof, good value, nice size, not heavy, good quality, and my husband says they work really well. He wants another pair.

Ok for the price but you get what you pay for.
I’ve had three sets of these headphones, sound quality is decent for the price. The mic and wiring quality deteriorate to the point of broken in about six months. But it was nice because it the mic worked for my phone, laptop, and PS5.

Buena calidad y comodos

Good quality headphones for the price you pay
I just bought a 2nd pair of these while they were on sale. The previous pair lasted 5 years before the plastic started to crack slightly, and the adhesive liner inside the earpiece hole (where the sound comes out of) was dislodged and I couldn't get it to stick back into place. They're comfortable and sound quality is decent for the price you're paying. I like the waterproof feature of it, can take it outdoors and clean/wipe with disinfectant as needed without it being damaged.
