Well packaged in individual plastic cases. The files are very well made and exude quality. I have only used one of them so far and it was extremely efficient. The file will get clogged with filings and it is recommended to use a soft brush to clean them with water, a child's toothbrush is ideal. Highly recommended.

I have these and the lower grit versions too. I started with these but found that they were very slow to remove material. This is not a problem, as these are designed to leave a very smooth finish. There is a different set if you want to remove material faster (they are blue and come in a pack of 3). I have built a Games Workshop Questoris Knight using these, and the finish was perfect. However, these are overkill unless you're working on something like transparent pieces, IMHO. Still, they are a lovely tool and one I'm happy to have in my toolkit. Please note that after using mine, I realised that one of the files was missing a small piece where the glass had chipped. So be very careful with these, and I wouldn't recommend them at all for young children. Adding to this review, I noticed someone said they worked well for 3d printed parts. I printed a load of bottle holders for the army painters paints in PETG. There was a reasonable amount to clean up and sandpaper would likely make it look messy so I tried these. The very effectively cleaned the parts up removing all the splatter and larger lines left by the printer leaving a very professional looking part that I can put straight into use. I didn't get the reviewers name but they were spot on with using these to clean up prints. I will be interested in seeing how long they last now they have lots of different applications and are getting a lot of use. I can say straight away they are better value for money than sandpaper. Also I dropped one while cleaning the print, I was stood up and in 6ft 9" tall so it fell at least 1.5 meters or 5ft onto a hard floor and didn't take any damage! After that I sat at a table to use it!

For years, I've used metal files. These are far better and get a much better result, particularly on flat surfaces as the files do not flex. The smoothness achieved is far higher than anything I've used before, you can get a mirror finish, easily.

I love these, perfect for Gundam and Warhammer models. Also, saves on dust from sand paper. Each file comes in its own plastic protector and that is a really nice idea. I use them all time. Brilliant. I wish they made glass needle files also for the really fine details.

I am amazed at these files and how well they work.... very good quality.... Pricewise they may feel costly but their results are priveless.

bought to do finishing work on my 3d prints and im impressed once you get the surface down to a consistent smoothness the files add a great shine to the surface one stroke will leave a mirror finish (over a small area) these files are for the final finish nothing more. items arrived well packaged and in good condition each file comes in its own plastic reusable container the files them self's are well made and the teeth are well formed (although you will need a strong magnifying glass to see them) great product would buy again. just a note on cleaning get a sort brush and push it on to the teeth it will dislodge any chips imbedded there then brush them away with the same brush file comes up like new.

Absolute must have for model builders. Really strong and you can achieve a fantastically smooth finish to any nubs in the plastic. Good price as well.

Not easy to use but once you get the hang of it, I could get great results. You still need to be careful with the edges. Wet the product prior usage and clean it constantly for better results

These polishing tools are fantastic for cleaning up the mold lines and sprue marks for Warhammer models from GW. I never knew these existed and now that I do, I will never go back to traditional sandpaper. These Stedi tempered glass tools polish to an incredibly smooth detail, are amazingly easy to clean, and are incredibly sharp while also being safe to the touch. With proper care they will last you a lifetime, just be aware that they ARE still glass so be careful dropping them from any distance as some reviewers report they're fragile. This set is a great starter set, gives you plenty of versatilty for different models. After using these, I was literally in awe of how I managed without them given how much time they saved me - a few passes over a mold line or sprue nub and the plastic is smooth as a flat panel. Just incredible. I was so impressed I even went ahead and picked up the two Stedi 3-packs here on Amazon; the "#320-400 Grit, #400-600Grit, #10000 Grit" step set for the lower grit options when dealing with larger chunks, and the "#600-800 Grits, Anti-Slip Comfortable Grip" for the needle nose version for those smaller, tighter, harder to get areas on a model. Highly recommend you complete the set as well. Can't say enough about these!
