They were what I expected and are great in certain soups. I like them but my two cats were not too crazy about them.

When I ordered this it was because the other bran I was getting jumped it's price from 6 something to 10. I thought buying this 1 lb bag kept that price range. Now I see my old bran is back in the 6 to 7 range. You can't see in this pound bag as the packaging is like a tin foil. Also not as pink color as 100 gram bags but as I said cats eats it. Also hardly any shake at all. Buying bigger is always cheaper. My cat eats 100 grams every three days

Big flakes but without a ton of shake = happy cat (and happy cat mom).

I bought this as a treat for our three cats. The first couple of times they nibbled at it then all of them have refused to get near it. These are not finicky eaters and have been okay with variety of treats so far, including Cat-Man-Doo bonito fish flakes. As for me, all I can tell is that the smell is a very strong and offputting. It has been a complete waste. Will not buy or recommend it.

Arrrived in an unmarked silver bag with no identification on it at all! What did I really receive? Seems OK, similar in quality to Bonito I have purchased in the past.

These are human grade fish flakes. I actually buy them as treats for my kitties, as they are MUCH cheaper than buying the same product under pet supplies. I have also used them recently for Japanese miso soup and they were wonderful to create a really rich fish broth. Great value, very fresh, good buy!

Resealable bag is a plus. The flakes were good and had a smoky flavor which was nice.

I used bonito flakes for miso soup and it was very good. All my friends and family loved it.
