Great camera. Dont buy if your child is still not allowed to play video games.
Everything is great as a camera. Very fun and easy to use. 5 stars. No complaints at all in camera mode. My only complaint, but I wont downgrade my rating for this, because I knew beforehand, is that it includes a video game option, which cannot be locked by parents. I never thought the video game was so easy to access or that I wouldnt have an option to lock it. So now my daughter ended up playing a video game, which was not my intention when buying a camera. So in a few days it went from a great experience with my daugther taking pictures of everything, to me asking my daugther to stop playing the video game all the time. Dont get me wrong, Im ok with playing video games. But not for a 4 years old. I prefer to introduce her to the video game world at another point and not indirectly when purchasing a camera.

Great gift so much fun.
This is perfect for littles. My niece has so much fun with this. Durable for the many drops it will face with a budding young photographer.

Fun, affordable camera option for small kids who take lots of pictures
My daughter loves using our Instacart Mini camera, so we got her this for Christmas, as it is a much more affordable option she can have on her own. She absolutely loves it! It’s nice that it give a printed photo as well as saves a color-digital copy. She is almost 4, and does have trouble ripping the photo paper on her own after taking a photo. She also has not been super rough with the camera, but there is already a small scratch on the screen. Overall, I would still say it is a good purchase. I have not seen it yet, but it would be nice if we could find perforated rolls of paper and/or sticker rolls like some other brands offer. It may already be available and I have just not found it yet.

5 year old loves it
The only issue so far is my 9 year old son also wants to use it but he’s not into the unicorn lol. I was back and forth on this because it was priced kinda high, however, as someone who grew up with polaroid cameras, I thought that if this worked well, she would have a blast. The quality of the photos isn’t great, but it’s not horrible either. For a 5-year-old, it’s fine. She has been taking photos and putting them up on the refrigerator. Even scrapbooking with them. It would be nice if it came in color but black and white has a nostalgic look to it. It was easy to charge and install the paper. The battery life is solid so far. My daughter is 5 as I mentioned and needed a little help from her older brother so I wouldn’t suggest just handing it to someone under 6 years old. But if they have a helper to figure out the buttons I’d say Age range could be from 4-12 I would say. Especially if they already use a phone or something with a menu. The size is perfect and it also can be worn around the neck so you can walk with it. Performance is a little tricky as first, but once you figure it out, it’s easy. And there’s some silly games in it. Oh and I was surprised it also does videos! My daughter and son have taken some goofy vids and so far we haven’t needed to add an external SIM card but that’s also an option! I would give it 5 stars if the photos were color or came out more like a Polaroid style vs a fax machine paper style. You can see on the photo I attached. But it’s a good time. Especially if they like unicorns as it fits into a carrying case that you can remove.

Fault - stopped working within a day
Stopped working after less than 1 day's use. My daughter was devasated because she received it for her birthday and loved it. Just suddenly stopped printing and started making a loud noise.
