Kind of weak magnets...
The idea is great, but it really could use some extra or some stronger magnets. I bought these for the front door windows of my 2012 Ford Econoline Van. The door frame has exposed metal around the upper edges for the magnets to cling to. I open the door, then apply the shade to the top edge and close the door, it isn't big enough to cover the whole window, but it does help keep the heat out during the day. They are cheap enough to give them a try, but be sure you have exposed metal for the magnets to stick to.

they work really well I even went so far as to add a magnetic strip for extra adhesion..BUT I was shorted a pkg I ordered 2 pk amd it was suppose to be three gotta call Amazon

Magnets are teensy and not strong
Itty bitty magnets- super flimsy. No magnetic strength to keep it on the metal parts it can reach. It’s best to find another option.
