Q: Is it possible to get an extra middle compartment ? i love it but want to add more

There are others that have more compartments. Not sure if they sell separate ones to add to it though. I don’t believe so.

Q: Has anyone flown with this yet? How does it hold up and did you have any trouble?

No travel by plane and do not plan too , it’s use is for mobile by car only

Q: Does it come with an extra lid for the bottom tray?

It does not, the middle and top sections act as lids, so once you take them off they're just open.
