Will this fit my richmond water heater model #6gr50pve2-42?

Hi Kathy-Chances are you may only have to reset the vapor sensor currently in your water heater.I presume that the water heater control is a honeywell. Flip the on/off button to OFF.Turn the thermostat knob to LOW.Unplug water heater and then plug back in.Turn the on/off switch to ON.Turn the thermostat knob fully HI and back to fully LOW seven times.The water heater should now be reset and turn on.If this fails,google "RHEEM SP20172 VAPOR SENSOR" and click on any of the RESET or REPLACE topics.

My faulty fv sensor shows 7202, t-o-d, 25vs. will this work?

Most likely it will. Keep searching around to find the range of ohms it is supposed to read before it tells the gas to turn off. The other thing would be to go to the local appliance parts store and just get the one they have there for the immediate fix. Your time spent searching is basically worth the price difference.

Will this work on a Lochinvar lvnl041g with the replacement part tst1027?
