The letters are clear and stand out well against the black (unsure how they might fare on other colour keyboards). My main complaint is that they have a tendency to shift and move a little off-centre over time, and were a little fiddly to apply (which I'm sure all are, though). I'm also unsure how easy these would be to remove, so make sure you really want them before committing. tldr: durable and stand out against black.
