Review: Works - Not quite 100wh, but still. 88wh/90wh *rated/typical. Fancy device. Comes with a quality 6amp cable. I got it for around $89 and that's a fair price for what you get. Seems like there are 5 cells in this thing. My feelings on that are that we're pushing the boundaries a bit at these powers and storage estimations. However, the features make up for it. But, that's 1.2 to 1.5a per cell at full tilt, so probably fine. High powered Flashlights are meaner :) My favorite 100wh battery right now is my sharegeek storm2. However, we had a rough start, and there are still some day to day things that annoy me about it. I would purchase this at discount, vs the shargeek at discount (depending). Also I didn't like shargeeks direct mail marketing to me :/ cuktech, I've never heard of which is why I checked them out. I can see the charge state! Yes, this device makes good use of screen real estate. I can actually view the state of charge :) In fact, overall the layout and usage of the screen is well thought out IMO. Each input/output has it's own gauge, with watts amps volts. This is helpful. Estimated runtime, and a big state of charge percentage. Viewing it all through a matt plastic cover, which is a little weird, but still viewable. On screen 2, totals are being graphed, over a 3 or 5 minute period. So when you swap there, you see some immediate history, as well as live data for the three ports. In my testing, each port stayed nailed up. This is a subtle and thoughtful feature. It means you won't accidentally power down your other device, just because you started charging your cell phone, or charging the battery bank. fwiw, the cuktech 40 doesn't behave this way. Something bad, is that it may not always be possible to charge something else. What I mean is that both usb-c ports are input/output ports. So if you had another device, that is an input/output device, you may have trouble negotiating the charge in the direction you intend. It would have been nice, if one of the USB-C ports wasn't also an input port..... The cucktech 20 will build up heat. It may not accept a charge until this heat has dissipated. This happened to me after it went from 60-14% discharging at 133w. Impressive. However it means that the device doesn't get rid of heat well. It looks like there is a heat sink in there. But really it's kind of a heat "pit", because It can fill up. The entire outside is plastic, so the heat doesn't dissipate fast. So yeah, I couldn't charge it up when it was at 14%. It eventually continued to charge at a de-rated speed (50w) after about ten minutes. This is a feature. However better heat dissipation would have been better. For the price I paid, I'm keeping it. Its a good example of what a battery like this should be. It's a little large for the capacity, it probably should have been born with 8 cells, and better heat management. But I still like it. And the screen is really well thought out IMO. Hopefully I won't discover any stupid behavior. I've only had it for like 24 hours. My concerns are lockups *but it appears you can reset it by long pressing the power button, just make sure nothing else is plugged into it. My other concerns are self discharge. But it still thinks it's at 100% 12 hours later. So decent enough start. I tend to update reviews long term. So if there is anything of interest I'll certainly complain about it, or sing it praises. Otherwise, this is an accurate review.
Review: It works well for the steam deck! - desertcart asked me to add the customer review. I will absolutely add it to customer review. I was going to buy a cuktech 300 watts 40,000 mah. I found out that it was too expensive than what I was going to pay for. I have been doing lot research about steam deck wattage. I have learned that the steam deck can climb up to 150 watts but at same speed. I was so surprised! I had others battery banks as well. First battery bank was the baseus 65 watts 30,000 mah. I gave those to my wife for using the Nintendo switch on her end. I decided to buy another battery bank but it was only for playstation 5 controller. So I ordered a 30 watts 40,000 mah only for the playstation 5 controller but I was able to use it for the steam deck. I wasn't able to use it for steam deck because it did work fine for small games but it didn't work for football game like madden NFL 2023. It would drain like 50% or 52% of the battery bank 30 watts 40,000 mah. I was like forget it. I am going to buy bigger capacity and bigger wattage. I was this close ordering a baseus 100 watts blade 20,000 decided not to buy it. After I did more research for steam deck battery support. I decided to purchase cuktech 210 watts 25,000 mah. The cuktech 210 watts 25,000 mah is awesome battery bank! Just remember when purchasing the battery bank always look at the wattage and PD 3.1 version. Here is why...... The higher wattage that you go will slow down the battery bank. If you use the lower wattage like 30 watts will tear your battery out fast and recharge the battery bank life span won't last as long. I would recommend to anyone who needs laptop charging and steam deck capability to 3.1 PD and 210 watts. Also you will need to buy your own charger either a 65 watts or 100 watts or 160 watts PD 3.1 to recharge the battery bank itself. I also have learned that the cuktech 210 watts 25,000 has a pass through charging. It is perfect for travelers and home use and friends and family and in laws visit. The battery bank 210 watts 25,000 mah works well with steam deck playing with madden NFL 2023. It only drains 15 to 16% for 6 minutes each quarter for only entire one full game. I can get that battery bank to last for days. That is all I need to say.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is my power bank providing fewer charges than expected?**
A: A power bank loses 30%-45% energy as heat during charging due to cable resistance and internal circuitry. A full charged 20000mAh bank provides about 11000mAh-14000mAh to devices.

**Q: How can I achieve a single-port charging power of 140W for devices and perform 110W fast charging on CUKTECH 20?**
A: To reach 140W, you need to use a cable that supports PD 3.1 and a device that supports PD 3.1 input such as the MacBook Pro. A 110W fast charge on a CUKTECH 20 requires a 110W+ charger and the supplied cable. It can charges 0-40% in 19 minutes.

**Q: Which fast charging protocols does CUKTECH 20 support?**
A: OUT1：PD3.1 140W，PD3.0 100W，MiPPS 120W，PPS 60W

**Q: Why does the power bank stay at a certain battery level for a long time when charging? Is this phenomenon normal?**
A: This is due to the power bank's heat protection, which lowers charging power when overheating. Charging returns to normal after cooling. This often happens after the battery depletes or charges at high power. It's a normal occurrence.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extreme to the MAX!!
*by Z***L on December 14, 2023*

So if you're just using one port (the blue USB-C port in particular) to charge something, it can charge at a maximum of 140 watts! The maximum the other USB-C port can charge at when it's used by itself is 45 watts. And the maximum that the USB-A port can charge at when it's used by itself is 30 watts. If you need to use all of the ports at the same time though, then the maximum that the blue USB-C port can charge at is 65 watts, and the other two have the same maximum output as they do when they are charging by themselves, like I had just mentioned. Considering all of that, there shouldn't be hardly any devices that can't be charged at their fastest possible charging rate when they're charged with this power bank. Except maybe Anker's crazy power bank... While this 25,000mAh power bank can be charged at a blistering 110 watts from 0%-100% in just 2 hours, Anker's crazy 27,650mAh power bank can be charged at a mind boggling 170 watts, using two USB-C ports at the same time, from 0%-100% in just 37 minutes!! At least, that's what they claim, and knowing them that's probably pretty accurate. However, their power bank is obviously a bit more costly than this one. AND, the means to charge their power bank is undoubtedly more costly than the means to charge this power bank will cost. Also, if you don't have something that can output 110 watts to charge a device, then you'll have to get one if you want to charge this power bank in just 2 hours. Anyway, that Anker power bank I was talking about is great and all, and I may try and get it still someday, but I couldn't pass up this hidden gem. In my opinion, it's not only a great quality power bank, it also has more style than any others like it, that I've ever seen.
