Review: Best Beginner Drone – No Phone Needed! - I've been looking for a good drone that wasn't going to deplete my savings account. This Contixo F23 was the one for me! The very first thing that caught my eye was the built-in 4.5" screen on the remote. I didn't want to deal with having to worry about having my phone fully charged, and also the drone... this allows me to just focus on learning how to fly without the hassle. Plus the screen is really bright, so I dont have to struggle with finding a shaded area or none of that. The live feed is clear and connects instantly, making the setup process much faster than other drones I’ve used. The GPS and optical flow stabilization make this drone incredibly steady in the air. Even as a beginner, I felt confident using the One-Key Takeoff and the Auto-Return Home feature, which works perfectly if the battery gets low. It comes with 2 batteries, which gives me about 40-45 minutes of fly time. Its perfect as want to disconnect and just get some fresh air. I also really appreciated the 16GB memory card it came with, the kit was designed to fly within minutes of arrival which is great. Overall, I think this is the perfect drone for a teen or a hobbyist, this is an excellent value. Highly recommended!

I've been looking for a good drone that wasn't going to deplete my savings account. This Contixo F23 was the one for me! The very first thing that caught my eye was the built-in 4.5" screen on the remote. I didn't want to deal with having to worry about having my phone fully charged, and also the drone... this allows me to just focus on learning how to fly without the hassle. Plus the screen is really bright, so I dont have to struggle with finding a shaded area or none of that. The live feed is clear and connects instantly, making the setup process much faster than other drones I’ve used. The GPS and optical flow stabilization make this drone incredibly steady in the air. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drone for Newbies!

From the box to the skies in minutes! With no previous drone piloting experience, this turned out to be a fun and intuitive experience for us. Setup was a breeze... fully charge the batteries and controller, remove the drone, deploy the collapsible propeller arms, set it on a flat surface, hold down the power button until the drone comes alive with beeps and flashing lights, power up the controller, and wait for the drone to establish a connection with the controller. Press the lift-off button - you'll hear an "all clear" warning and the blades begin rotation; press it again, and the drone leaps into the air! Initially, we started with very subtle, gentle commands to orient ourselves with the control sensitivity... up, down, rotate direction, forward/reverse, and left and right. As new pilots, we did have a few unexpected entanglements with our trees and some plants... however, even with a few tumbles, the sturdy design, as well as the flexible and non-rigid prop connections, did just fine and were not damaged. Our drone was airborne for a good 20 minutes while we worked out our new flying skills without any noticeable dip in available battery power. We managed to record a few minutes of one of our flights and the resolution and color were way beyond our expectations. Next, we want to explore more of the included features... this little drone packs a punch with advanced features and is easy enough for a complete novice to use.
