Sony bravia is amazing

Sony has always beaten others in terms of picture quality, maybe Samsung might be the second or first one depending on model to model, well for this model, whose real model number is 55KDX75AK, please don't get confused with the model number, as on the box it is written X7 K in big letters and on TV X75AK, first few letters are for the size of the TV and on Amazon, you can find X75K and X75AK as the different model in terms of price, remember all are same go for the cheapest one, price in amazon is very dynamic which is quite weird as well, I don't know why amazon does that, we will list out pros and cons:Pros: Best picture quality, relatively fast booting, and fast overall, sound quality is good and adaptive a little I am not sure about it, picture quality and brightness are adaptive so you don't have to keep on changing the picture setting, it will give you the best automatically, airplay and Chromecast works fine, however, google home in IOS doesn't work seamlessly, you can switch to aap remote if you want there are many options. switching between aaps is also fast, remote google assistant and voice command works just fine not the best, log in with your mail ID before using the tv for a better experience, picture quality is far better from another tv in the same price range, IPS display gives good colors and black seems fine to me, the overall picture quality is a winner here, and it soothing to watch unlike TCL QLED which will give you stress. it has both airplay and Chromecast which is a winner again.Cons: sometimes it lags maybe because of internet connectivity, there is no wide mode, it is there but you cannot use that feature for streaming apps, so you will see black bars in amazon prime and Netflix for a few contents mostly movies, no inbuilt tv mic so you need to rely on remote, which is not a too good feature, you cannot talk to tv directly, I had TCL C635, it has an inbuilt mic with a switch, and its works just fine, there is no physical customer support for Sony in UAE, Jumbo Electronics give support, but they don't respond at all, warranty is 2 year as per warranty card by Jumbo Electronics.

The TV is great and the vision is clear, but it disconnects from the network every 3-4 minutes and the situation is very bad.My previous TV did not disconnected from the network, a very bad experience. I am very upset.

I have had this notion for sometime that if you want to buy electronics, buy from Store only and not online. So when I bought my Samsung S21 FE 5g mobile from one of the well known electronics stores in Dubai, and the phone started heating up in the 1st week itself, the store refused to return it and asked me to send the phone to their service center which was not a solution as one can not stay without a phone.Contrast this with another scenario: I bought a 55 inches Chinese TV from Amazon. Exactly few days past it's warranty period, the Chinese TV stopped working - it was a display problem which no one was prepared to rectify. I got in touch with Amazon and explained to them the company that sold the TV on Amazon platform has left UAE and does not have a Service Center here, so I can't go for paid repairs., and upon the 3rd call and talking to a customer care executive who showed empathy, Amazon refunded my entire amount.So I used my entire refund of 1489 Dhs and added some more and got Sony TV 55X80K and it is brilliant. The actual delivery came from Jumbo. The colors are amazing. The experience of watching Netflix on Sony is enthralling. If you want to buy a TV, buy from Amazon as you will get the refund if anything goes wrong in the warranty period. I got mine even after the warranty was over.Furthermore, if you are watching Netflix which has several movies in Ultra HD with 4K format, buy this version of Sony only and not the cheaper version as this version carries the HD processor and colours are coming out extremely well. Overall I am very very happy with Sony, and with Amazon which has earned my trust.Learnt my lesson: I will never buy Chinese electronics products again.

I recently purchased a new TV and I have to say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. With today's technology, I'm always very worried to order anything "smart". I am not very good at figuring out technology. As a matter of fact, it scares me lol. I just wanted a TV that has an excellent picture and excellent sound quality. I just use my TV to watch movies, stream shows and watch regular TV. I don't use it for video games or to broadcast from my computer to the TV screen. That said, I also needed a big enough TV screen to fit the large wall in our great room. I heard very good things about the Sony brand, so I took a chance and ordered this one. Several people commented that they wish it wasn't tied to Google, but honestly, I think Google makes technology pretty easy for us non-techies. Even though it's large, I don't think it weighs a ton. My son and I (I'm only 5'1" and weigh 135 lbs. and have no muscle) were able to easily lift it onto the TV mount we bought without really straining. Once on the wall, it was easy to turn it on and get it all set up for use. I was able to find all the streaming services I use as well as the live, local channels. I LOVE the "continue watching" area that shows up. It brings up what I was watching on my streaming services, so I don't have to find the streaming service, click on it and then go into the service to find my show. The picture quality is excellent and so is the sound. I have another name brand TV at our summer home and the sound is awful. I have to have it turned up so loud, just to hear it in a normal tone. I'm not one to be picky about bass, treble, balance, etc., but this Sony TV's sound must have that all figured out as it sounds really good. I've had it for about a month and a half now and I've only had one small issue with it. Not sure why, but the screen completely froze on me, and I couldn't use the remote for any function. I couldn't even turn the TV off with the remote. I unplugged the TV from the outlet, left it for a couple minutes, plugged it back in and it fixed the issue. I haven't had the problem since, so I'm just chalking it up to sometimes things like that happen with technology. If you're looking for a techie's opinion of this TV, you're not going to get it here. If you're like me, and are just interested in picture quality, sound and ease of use, I highly recommend this TV!

Works well (2 months in) Google tv is super intuitive, colors are beautiful out the box , sound is good ... Enough , lots of settings and buttons in the settings for the rest check with your accountant
