Exactly as expected. Created cello bags of penny candy for a 50th high school reunion. The best nostalgia piece were the ‘flying saucers.’ They were fresh and delightful. Actually better tasting than I remembered the in late 70’s!

These flying saucers are pure childhood nostalgia for me. When I was younger, my mom introduced my siblings and me to them, and now I’ve had the joy of sharing them with my own children. It’s a special kind of full-circle moment that makes these candies even more meaningful to us. I’ll be honest—flying saucers are definitely an acquired taste. You’re either going to love them or hate them. Luckily, my whole family falls into the “love” category. The outer shell has a texture and flavor very similar to communion wafers—it dissolves on your tongue and can leave a bit of a film if you don’t chew it. Inside, you’ll find tiny candy beads that don’t have a strong flavor, but add a fun crunch. Some people say these taste like eating paper, and I get that. But for me and my kids, they’re one of those quirky treats we can’t get enough of. Once we start, it’s hard to stop! I’ve bought them multiple times, and they’re always worth it for the joy and memories they bring.

I was so excited to get this candy that I had when I was a child. Very stale. Terrible!!!!! Beads were all stuck together. Very disappointed 😞

Cannot believe I found these on Amizon. I remember having these as a child and just loved them. They are exactly as I remember them. Place them on your tongue and they start to melt and are full of tasty beads. Expensive but were worth it. These are something I will purchase to spoil myself in the future. Cannot express how good they are.
