Just arrived, tried it on but will be testing it out next week when we're up North and showers are forecast. I'll amend the review if the coat fails! Lovely dark petrol blue colour. Length is good - I'm 5ft 5" and it comes down to a few inches from my ankles (which is what I was looking for) Elasticated cuffs - sleeves are long but I just pulled the material over the cuff and it looks fine. Drawstring waist which was good ( it's a bit big with just a t-shirt on but the drawstring Idea sorted it out) I'm sure in the colder months with a big jumper on or using it over a coat will be ideal. I'm a size 14/16 and ordered xxl as someone had helpfully posted that this size was good for a size 16. Someone posted that they had an issue with smell from the fabric . I have given the Mac a good sniff and can't smell anything....phew! It looks good on and hopefully will keep me dry next week! Comes in a bag which will pop nicely into my rucksack

Heading to Chelsea Flower Show - rain forecast all day. Wanted a lightweight, long waterproof coat to fit in my bag if not being used. This coat FAR exceeded my expectations. It is stylish and you do not look like you are wearing a "mini tent" as in some of the waterproof ponchos! It has both a zip and poppers to keep closed - brilliant to have both options. The drawstring at the waist gives the coat a lovely shape. The sleeves have elasticated cuffs, which are not too tight and then a flat section of the coat fabric to cover the cuff. The hood has a drawstring, so does not blow off in , when water drips down onto the clothes beneath the anorak hemline. The small carry bag in the same colour and material as the coat & is lightweight, easy to carry and the coat easily folds to go back in there, so no getting items wet in your handbag - in the sun/rain/sun climate of the UK! I received so many compliments for this waterproof. I do not hesitate in recommending this coat, nor in giving 5 *****. Brilliant.

going on holiday and weather forecast was a bit mixed so I decided to get a pac-a=mac. Saw this and immediately liked the look of it. I am HS 14/16 and pear shaped so I order the Large. It is perfect, not too tight, but comfortable enough to wear something light weight underneath. As it turned out, this mac was needed and it withstood the rain beautifully. I was most impressed with the fact that the seams are taped, so there was no leaking at all. hood easy to use too, not too big so you couldn't see where you were going but protected the hair splendidly. I liked the fact that this is a longer lenth one so easily protected my linen trousers whilst out . I would highly recommend this item.

Very quality

I bought this to cover my maxi -21 degree down coat which is showerproof but not waterproof. Complete with wellies I attend my grandchildrens' rugby matches, bonfire nights and many other occasions which are always on muddy fields and I can be outside for 7 hours in the winter. This raincoat is exactly what I wanted without making me look like a Michelin man. It is long (I am 5'9"), covers my coat and the hood is large enough to cover the hood on my coat. It does up right to the chin and the material is strong. It would also look great in the wet summer weather or when giving the dog its evening walk in my pyjamas!

Well made and lightweight but XXL is smaller than expected. The coat is unlined, with some kind of coating on the interior which has an unpleasant strong chemical smell. I don't think it will be that robust and I suspect it's not going to be that water resistant.

It's good to find a longer mac that covers your skirts when you're caught in the rain, especially if it's too windy for a brolly. The hood has a pull cord so it can be adjusted to fit round your head and keep your hair dry. I bought a larger size than normal so I could put it on over a coat/ jacket in case of a sudden downpour on a walk. It has kept my clothes and hair protected. It comes in a handy lightweight travel bag. I didn't like the green colour so ordered the black only to find the poppers do up the man's way round!
