Good quality appropriate doll
Bought for my glasses wearing book-obsessed daughter for her birthday. She loves her! She even mentioned, unprompted, that this doll is “so much better than Barbie” and much sturdier (idk what the deal is but modern Barbie dolls seem to fall apart or break irreparably and their hair is no longer very good quality). The Lottie doll feels study, and her hair is shiny and smooth— very good quality! I personally love that she actually looks like a little girl and not some adult with…weird proportions (you know what I mean). I love the themes of the Lottie dolls, too. Great, inclusive and respectful representations for children. I plan to expand my daughter’s collection!

as an adult doll collector, im not really the target audience. however, even as a child i wouldn't find this doll particularly interesting. i would've much rather had a monster high doll or a barbie compared to a lottie doll. she's cute, and her screening is adorable but she doesn't match the pics 100% (the glasses included aren't the same ones in the pics, skin-color has a different undertone, ect). hair quality also kinda sucks, you can feel the glue. got her for $12 on black friday so im glad i bought her when i did. but lottie dolls seem to just be americanized licca dolls. just buy licca's instead.

We are a Lottie doll household!
My two girls combined own many Lottie dolls. We decided not to do Barbies with our girls and instead focus on modestly dressed dolls that are not overly sexualized. Lottie dolls are a great option. I LOVE the book worm doll. They are a tad pricey, but the quality lasts.
