Yes, it's just brown tape but if you use it regularly you you will probably know what a mix of quality is available. Lots of total rubbish ones that won't come of the roll easily or at all, ones that just rip and others that are useless in every possible way. I've been buying this one regularly for a long time as it actually does it's job really well. Price is fine because it works, the cheaper stuff is nearly always junk,

Good for the price, but not the best
In general they're good tapes, but they're not very sticky, even after attaching to the box some cuts need to be re-glued. One of the rolls was terrible, it kept breaking into small pieces.

Very good, tape appears strong and sticks. Well packaged and good quality. Easy to set up in tape gun. Would purchase again.
