Not ready for prime time
I bought this because I had a positive experience with the Original Kalahari Biltong and wanted to branch out. The flavor is about average. Unfortunately, the gristle in this brand is consistently a problem. I ordered a two-pack and found throughout, that no piece was really free of gristle in either pack. Secondly, and exacerbating the first point, many of the slices are really too thick to meet true biltong standards. I did give it three stars for positive customer service. I wrote and explained my evaluation of the product. They provided a second shipment free of charge. However, the quality of the product was still the same - just too much gristle and mostly far too thick.

Perfect to go snack for AIP
AIP diet is very hard to follow. And almost impossible to find on the go, prepackaged foods. This is one of the favorite items I found. It’s delicious. It’s not too tough to chew through. Great flavor.
