StainStriker Portable Carpet/Upholstery Cleaner, 4 Tools, PX202BRN

I bought the Shark StainStriker specifically to clean a couch and accent chairs I purchased from Facebook Marketplace, and I’m honestly amazed by the results. The furniture looked decent when I picked it up, but after using this cleaner, it looked and smelled so much fresher and cleaner. The machine is lightweight, easy to carry, and very simple to use. It removed old stains, dirt, and odors much better than I expected, especially from the fabric cushions and armrests. I also loved how quickly the upholstery dried afterward. The suction power is impressive for a portable cleaner, and the included cleaning solution worked really well without leaving a sticky residue. I’ve since used it on my car seats and area rugs too, and it performs great every time. If you buy secondhand furniture or have pets/kids, this machine is definitely worth having around. Highly recommend!

The Shark StainStriker is easy to use and does an excellent job removing stains from carpet and upholstery. It has strong suction, and the cleaning solution helped lift both old and fresh stains while leaving everything smelling clean. The included attachments make it easy to tackle furniture, stairs, and vehicle interiors. It's compact, effective, and a great machine to have for quick cleanups around the house.

This Shark stain Striker is IMPRESSIVE. So far we have used this unit to clean a 10-year old sofa , a white buclé side chair, carpets and rugs, and IT DOESN’T DISAPPOINT. It removed so much grime and dirt from all the items mentioned , in such a way that it is undoubtedly a professional-level upholstery cleaner. Both the sofa and chair looked as good as the day we purchased them. This thing is a workhorse. The compact design makes it very convenient to stow. Definitely worth the investment.

Wow I am blown away at how well this machine worked! It took the sofa my dog uses from being trash worthy, to looking nearly brand new! I wasn’t sure how well this would work on this extremely old and dingy sofa at first, but was amazed instantly at how well the cleaners and brushes on the heads removed the tough stains and the vacuum just sucked the rest right up leaving my dogs sofa the cleanest it has ever been! I highly highly recommend this product to anyone with pets who get in furniture, children who make messes and for everyday life! I will also be using this in 3 of my boats interiors as well as vehicles and headboards of our beds! It’s a miracle worker!! The only issue was it did dirty tank did not hold a lot of water so I found myself emptying it often, the corded feature was long enough for me to plug it in and use it far away, it was super easy to put together and is pretty light weight!

A brand that lives up to its name and attacks those stubborn and tough stains. Anyone has a professional cleaning company that you can lend out? I don’t either, but I still have a HOME, KIDS, PETS, A HUSBAND, OCD, ADHD, CHRONIC PAIN, and they all have stains that need to be removed!! This is not my family’s first shark product so we have memories for years, been through ups and down, created a deep bond, so I went to who I know that can get the job done when we decided to live dangerously the day we bought our new house with light colored carpets, while having younger children, teenagers, and pets. Anyone has a child (or partner) who DOES NOT have limited visibility when it comes to messes or selected hearing when it comes to rules?? Asking for a friend, but for us regular people, this Shark Cleaner has been THE go to for many small, larger, wet, or dry messes in my house with a quick grab of the handle and with the powerful solution lasting, it’s just always readily available when we need it. PRO: Not heavy by any means, rather durable including when it’s filled of cleaning solution and a full tank of dirty water it collects. Even for me being disabled from HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES & TOES, & HANDS, EYES, EARS, MOUTH & NOSE affecting all my joints, but seriously, I am able to manage as I stick to one floor in my house for that day when cleaning multiple spots. PRO: Their stain fighting solution has the Holy Spirit or something in it thank the lord because it has taken out some stains that were just toxic. You know the dependency issues or clinging to dear life type, yeah on your favorite shirt kind??? But instead, its RED pasta sauce and whatyamacallit from your garbage can that your sweet angle child you love so much (that one that makes you apologize to your parents for what you put them through when you were younger) or it was your (other life partner/other children) in my case my cats, that you also love, but knew it would be x4 the responsibility to maintain, has put onto your beautiful ANY colored literally, but especially light, pillows and carpet, because they decided to become Picasso right before your family or friends (if you have any) or if your like me- keep the rest of my no energy I have left to myself with my favorite shows and snacks- 😩over. So when we have guests over it’s kind of a big deal. But all we have to do is pull out the Armor of God and less than 5minutes and my souls leaving my body, my clothing, decor, and furniture looks like I have my life together- Seriously Brand New! PRO: Teaching children to do chores never been so easy. The instructions makes it simple to learn and remind you how to use it if you forget. Wrapping the wire around the product to keep it neat and no chewed power cord by those fur-babies you’re cleaning up after so that type of storage is exactly what my OCD requires. PROS: Being able to see the dirt from the stains being pulled out so you know you’re catching it and it’s getting the job done. Just something that’s satisfying about cleaning or seeing it work especially when the stain sat for some time or a day or two. You think that’s it, it’s not going to come out and then BAM, your dreams of having a reason to get a new carpet or buy some new decor just gets stripped away just like that! CONS: Being able to see the dirt from the stains being pulled out so your reminded of how often you don’t clean or for how long you actually left that stain/mess from your cats furballs mixed with seafood sat there. Just an example not a completely true story. CONS: If I was Queen of Burger King and I could truly have my way, I would loved a nice tote bag to keep the other cleaning attachments together so I don’t forget or lose. I’m a tote bag or any bag type of girl. Plus, I already would lose or forget my limbs if they weren’t attached to my body, along with my car keys, glasses on my eyes, water bottle in my hand already, it’s just my ADHD brain, but this wasn’t a deal breaker and rather a quick fix, I just purchased one. *KEY DETAILS* Dirty Water doesn’t smell due to the smelling good powerful cleaning solution so all the tired mamas and dads, don’t beat yourself up if it stays a day or two, that’s the point of the separate dirty water tank and reality is you won’t always pull so much water it has to be dumped same day. Unfortunately our cleaner had a short life span and affecting our carpets which I believe is just a defect and that’s the reason for only 4 stars, but don’t let a defect stop you from purchasing because I plan to. Okay, so here's the deal. We have a dog. And if you have a dog, you need a carpet cleaner or you like it or not are living with filthy carpets. So we have a RugDoctor that we use ever few months and it works great. But it's huge. And heavy. And getting it out and setting it up to do a small section of carpet is really a pain in the rear. I figured a little spot cleaner would be a good investment. So I bought a Bissell. It broke after three uses. And I bought a new improved one, the little green one you see all over the place. The hose leaked. And I mean LEAKED. Their customer service was AWFUL, so I got rid of it. I wanted a pro-grade spot cleaner. I'm willing to pay 2 or even 3X what the cheap models cost if it works better and lasts longer. The rug doctor one is also huge and had middling reviews, so I looked at the Shark model. We have a Shark vacuum at Church and I actually think the design is extremely clever and it works well. So why not try the Shark spot cleaner? I was suspicious: at $99 in Amazon Prime Day it must be a piece of crap, right? Not so. First off, this thing is SMALL. Much smaller than the competitors, and it is SQUARE and a huge oblong thing. Maybe 14" by 14" by 14". This means it can be stored almost anywhere without issue. The Bissells I owned were horribly noisy, and the shrill / shrieking tone of the vacuum really made it unpleasant to use. This one is loud as well, but it is NOT AT ALL shrieky or shrill, so using it is not fatiguing to the ears. I love that about it. But does it work? We had some stains from our dog where she likes to lie watching the activities in the kitchen without having to lie on the cold tile in the kitchen. So that area is particularly dirty. So is the area next to the couch which she frequents. I filled the water tank to the line with hot tap water and then filled it with the cleaning solution to the next line (you use next to none of it). Then you put the Oxy accelerator in the other tank. And off you go. Here is what awaits you: It is small and lightweight, so you can easily take it around the house. Living room, bedroom, family room, no fuss and no bother getting it around the house. Reasonably long cord (probably 10 feet?) makes it pretty easy to get to various areas without having to unplug / replug. Operation can't be easier. Press the TOP MOUNTED (thank you designers!) power button and the vacuum fires up. Not quiet, but like I said, not obnoxious. You put on any one of FOUR different heads. A super small one is permanently attached for maybe dime size stains. Then there is a small one, maybe 3" across, then another one that has a weird reservoirs that I have no idea what it is used for, and then a large one maybe 6" across. The small one was great... You pull the trigger and extract the solution, and the built in brush which is removable allows you to ensure the solution gets into the pile. The clear head allows you to see the extraction that is happening, which I'm sure is more for show than anything else, but I did find it useful to make sure I'd gotten all the solution sucked up. So spray, brush, extract, spray, brush, extract, and... BOOM. Stains are gone. And I mean GONE! I used this in three rooms. All the stains (and some were nasty) are all gone save for one in the bedroom that is less of a stain and more of some sticky substance probably from the garden. It did an admirable job but I will likely have to use solvent to get rid of it all. The proof comes when you empty the waste tank, which admittedly is pretty small. You know it is time to empty it when the pitch of the vacuum changes, basically it closes a float valve to ensure you don't start spraying your surroundings with the dirt you sucked up through the vacuum exhaust. Definitely not something you want. So I took the device into the bathroom, lifted the waste tank out of the device (you just pull up on the handle) and then to remove the valve / feeder assembly, you push that same handle in the opposite direction and the whole top (which is actually the bottom) comes off. And when you dump the waste water into the toilet, don't be surprised when the toilet water turns a disgusting dark brown. Here's the thing: We vacuum regularly and we had our carpets cleaned maybe 6 weeks ago, and this water was filthy! How that much dirt came out of our carpets is pretty amazing. SO... in summary, this is a small and compact and very effective cleaner that is easy to store, easy to use and is not as loud or irritating as other machines. If this thing holds up (I did buy the three year extended warranty for an extra $10... figured it was worth it given the poor showing of the Bissell machines) so I would be delighted if my $10 proves to be a waste of money. If you read the internet, you'll see this is a top pick with a lot of reviewers. I can see why. It certainly is designed intelligently and appears to work great. If it lasts for several years, then I will have made a fine decision, and perhaps more important to the manufacturer, I will have become a satisfied customer who knows they can trust the brand to deliver true value to me as a customer.

Did the job well done. I bought a brand new sofa 2 weeks ago and although I was being very careful the inevitable happened -- I spilled an entire cup of tea on it at 9 pm. I immediately went on amazon to buy this upholstery cleaner, watched my movie and went to bed with peace of mind via overnight delivery - it was at my door by the time I woke up the next morning! I just got done cleaning the sofa. The Shark StainStrike was well packaged and is durable, it seems tough. All the parts fit nicely together. The suction worked great. Its portable yet has enough water capacity and easy to carry around...its just the right size. I'm looking forward to using it on my car seats. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I used the Shark Stain Striker to clean a "clean" used car I recently purchased. It did an amazing job!! It didn't leave the seats overly damp either. There was one seat that had a lot of Texas dust ingrained into it. The Stain Striker made easy work of it, and the interior looks so bright and smells great! One tank of water and cleaner was enough to clean the entire inside including the carpet. The cord length is quiet long too. I was able to clean everywhere I needed to without having to change where it was plugged in. I can't speak to the longevity of the product since I just got it, but I used the heck out of it today with no issues. It seems very sturdy, and the cleaning heads come apart for cleaning them afterwards. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a portable fabric cleaner.

I’m really impressed with the Shark StainStriker. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and works great for quickly cleaning up stains on carpets, couches, and upholstery. It has been so convenient to have at home for those unexpected spills and messes. The suction is strong and it leaves areas looking and feeling much cleaner. A great little machine that saves time and makes cleaning so much easier.

The product has suddenly stopped working after 2 minutes. As per many reviews the product is not compatible to be working with UAE Electricity Voltage (220V). Amazon should clearly mention that in product discerption and highlight such information to customers prior dispatching. The Shark PX202BRN StainStriker is a 120V product designed for the North American market, not 220V. Using this 120V appliance in 220V regions (like the UAE) without a step-down converter will cause it to burn out or fail.

Muy funcional, nada compleja, si la mancha es reciente la quita con facilidad, si la mancha ya se secó y lleva un rato así te recomiendo que mojes muy bien la zona dejes reposar y después talles como si no hubiera un mañana para que se quite. Desventaja los líquidos que trae se cansan rápido

Esta máquina me gustó mucho ya que me llegó en buenas condiciones vino tal cual la imagen y también incluido los accesorios llevo meses utilizándola hasta ahorita deja muy limpio mis tapetes es fácil de limpiar y de usar en las fotitos que subí ahí viene el antes y después de cómo deja limpio los tapetes

Nothing wrong with the product as I own it, and use it outside the UAE and it is excellent. In this case, though I did not check feel the need to check the power supply details so when I finally decided to use it (1/12/25) it turned out to be 120V and therefore not usable in this country without a voltage converter and anyone who has used these will tell you they are unreliable
