Worked a treat
I bought these screws to quiet an old noisy ductwork system on my 50's era home. They worked perfectly to stop the ballooning of my ducts with a modern furnace. I used an installers bit to drill right up through the ductwork into the joists overhead. I then installed the screws with a piece of rubber hose between the duct and joist to keep the top from ballooning and snugged the bottom to hold it flat. I now have a wonderfully quiet forced air system that was previously EXTREMELY noisy.

Was exactly what I was looking for. Great discription of product. Thanks for putting the quotation and hashtag marks after the numbers. This was VERY IMPORTANT when I was looking for specialized screws online. Many of the other companies didn’t use the hashtags and quotation marks making it hard to know the size and length of the screws you were getting.
