Very tight fit. Pay attention to the installation tips
Fits well but installation is a bear. Did not use hot water, instead I put the wheels in a warm engine compartment, not touching any metal. After 30 minutes I seated the belt and began pulling and seating it as far as I could go. Then used carpenter clamps to hold the eat in place. Used multiple screw drivers to lever and stretch the belt moving the clumps as I gained ground. First one took 45 minutes, second one 15. The belts are smaller out -of-the box then the wheel diameter but that is by design. They will definitely never pop off. Be patient and definitely warm the belt first. I tried a hair dryer but that only worked for small sections at a time. Maybe if I was more patient...

VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL
Great Wheels. Not so easy to install. Took these to wheelchair supplier. He wouldn’t install them. Told me to buy a new Wheelchair. I’ll never go back there! Took them to another wheelchair supplier. They tried but couldn’t install them. The recommended a bicycle shop. They kept it overnight, installed the wheels, charged me $50 and said they would NEVER do this again. Other than that, the wheels are great year later. Wheelchair is like new. Next time I’ll try buying complete wheels, not just the tire replacement.

Hard to install, but worth the effort.
These are an exact fit with lots of effort to put them on. I tried installing these straight out of the box. Forget it. It is almost impossible to put these tires on if you don't boil them first. Put them in a pot, weight them down, and remove them after about 10 minutes. They will be hot, but they cool off fast enough that you can handle them and stay hot enough they can stretch over the wheels. My hands have gotten weaker over the years, so it was hard to get the tires to seat. I took a rubber mallet and beat them into submission :) until they seated. That was easier than manipulating them by hand. I just hit the edge of the tire until it popped into place. These are definitely worth the price and effort.

Good replacement hard to install big you're old
Good replacement. Hard as in very hard to get on, Saying that I'm old with very little grip strength. I used my 75 yr old tire irons and extra wire ties. It went on and was a good fit. Next time I'll try a heat gun. Or get my son to do it.

20 minute tire boil and 5 minute application. The tires worked out fine!
These Wheels worked perfectly on my Drive Wheelchair. The installation will go fine if you do the following: Place each tire 1 at a time in boiling water for 20 minutes to loosen the fit. Place the tire slowly onto the wheel and tie down the tire using included zip ties until you reach the approximate halfway point. At this point use the included pry bar AND a second long flat head screw driver to pull the tire OVER the wheel and then verify that the tire is fitted to the rim. This installation can be done with some effort by one person. It took me about 5 minutes per tire. DO NOT EVEN TRY WITHOUT HEATING THE TIRES!

Great! A little tricky to put on, 2 person job!
I called a few local places to get the price to change the tires on my sister’s wheelchair. One place quoted me $100 per tire (a brand new chair would cost the same if you replaced both of them) so I started looking for other options. I ordered these and with help from my teenage son we were able to get them onto her wheelchair and saved a lot of money! Highly recommend.

Really great tires and quick installation
Great product and quality. The great thing is that the tool comes with it! So, read all the reviews before I purchased the tires. Actually was not so bad to install them. Yes, you have to have some muscle to get that last bit of tire on. Nevertheless, it went smoothly using the zip ties that come with it. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA ZIP TIES) I boiled the tires for 20 mins in boiling water. Used a large pot and then placed a smaller pot with water to weigh it down some. Not all the way so that it wouldn’t touch the bottom of the pot. This was to avoid it burning the rubber. After the water came to a boiling point. I took the pot off the burner. The trick was…. I let it sit for a total of 25mins once the water reached boiling point. After doing this it took all of 5 minutes to put the tires back on. Make sure you have extra zip ties and somebody to help you keep the wheel stable. I placed the zip ties every 12” inches. This technique worked great for me. Take note; This is not a one person job.
