A: It's made out of steel. It is a robust product

A: Yes, there is some tilt available, but it is always safest to keep the pole as near to 90 degrees to the ceiling panel to avoid the pad slipping and subsequent downfall. A heavy object against the lower section of the support can be used to stop the lower end slipping - or a couple of nails to hold a lath there!. Good luck with your project

A: Fully extended it is 295 centimetres long.  In traditional English units that is 9 foot 8 inches.
