Not really as extra wide as you would hope.
They are extremely stiff. The strap is awkward and doesn't line up well. It got two stars because, well, it is a shoe just as advertised.

購入して良かった。甲高でも履けます。
施設入居の父に6Ｅを購入しました。歩行器使用で、体も硬くなっているので自分で靴を履くのも難しく、しかもばんびろ甲高で、なかなか合う靴が無かったのですが、これは合いました。 少し大きめですが、踵でホールドされるので大丈夫でした。また、軽いので歩きやすいそうです。 施設の方も「これ、どこで買ったんですか？」と聞いてきたそうです。実は、入居当初施設の理学療法士の方が業者の方がサンプル持参で来てくださったのですが、甲が高いので合う靴が無かったそうです。本当に助かりました。ありがとうございました。

Definitely buying again
As a wheelchair user, these are one of the best shoes I've found for swollen feet. They're lightweight, easy to put on with the Velcro tongue, and much more manageable when someone is helping you get dressed. They have a sleek look, and I've received plenty of compliments on them. The comfort and fit are excellent. Depending on the level of swelling, I'd suggest ordering 1.5 to 2.5 sizes up and choosing the XX-wide option for maximum comfort.
