STANLEY Sharpshooter Plus Nail Gun, Heavy Duty, Gray/Black (TR250)

Stupid, stupid stapler that although it has a cable guide you cant use rounded cable staples with it and it doesnt let you use normal staples at all so you have to buy heavy duty staples. This sounds easy but if you search on amazon or anywhere for TR250 staples there arent any, if you search for heavy duty staples then they all mention other models of Stanley Staplers not the TR250 so I've had to gamble that the ones i've bought will fit as none of my existing staples will. The stapler took absolutely ages to arrive otherwise I would have sent it back but it does seem well made and has some nice features such as the adjustable depth and staple load guide.

Works so much better than my old staple gun! Shoots different types of staple without any jams. I haven't tried nails out of it yet so I can't comment on how it works for them but I can say that I don't see that it would be a problem. It's very comfortable to use and quite durable. It got knocked off a railing and fell down a full flight of stairs and it still worked perfectly!

After a long search for a solid, yet lightweight heavy-duty staple gun, I finally found one. It even has a brad nail option. No need to pull out the pneumatic one just for a couple brads. The staples penetrates a 1/8th inch pressboard like it was butter. The body of the gun is airplane-grade aluminum. I have small hands and I did not find it difficult to handle it. Though, I did add some markings on the gun to indicate where the staples come out of. This makes it easy for me to align the head so that i can precisely staple where I intend to staple. My local big-box hardware store either has very expensive heavy-duty staple guns or light-duty ones. Now I can use it with confidence that it will do the job at a down-to-earth price. It came in its original Stanley packaging. It was delivered faster than I expected.
