Gentile Christians distances themselves from their root and bore bad fruit of paganism!!!
This book set me back 37 years as a former pastor of 27 years. I never knew such wickedness on the part of Goyim Christians existed! What a great book!

Jewish Roots of Christianity
The book covers many concepts related to the topic, and does so in a logically laid out way.

I HAVE ONLY GOTTEN TO . . .
read the Introduction and immediately I felt that "Oh No, here we go again" feeling. In my opinion this author is typical of those who claim that Christianity has a Hebraic/Jewish foundation. What they do is push the correct idea that the Messiah is Jewish/Hebrew then they REVERT back to calling his name Jesus. This is "double talk." If I was Jewish I would be confused. There is NO WAY anyone who lived in the first century ever called the Messiah Jesus. The letter J wasn't known until the 15th century. Besides, the English language didn't even exist in the 1st century. As far as I can figure out these Messianic Jewish ministries use the name Jesus instead of Yahshua/Yeshua for one reason: they aren't COMPLETELY CONVINCED that Christianity is Hebraic/Jewish. Another reason might be they are afraid to admit that CHURCHianity has been using the wrong name for 2,000 years. It's gonna be very difficult for this author to convince me of his thesis while seeing the name Jesus repeated over and over. Another point I find interesting is the author provides no way to email him with comments. Flags go up when authors hide from their readers. I will press on reading the author's thesis and will report back with my thoughts. I am glad there are numerous Messianic Ministries that publish books using the Messiah's true name that have taught me valuable truths. I just wish Messianic authors would just admit that the Messiah did NOT have an English name. Most say it's not an important issue, yet, I wonder what answer they would get if when they enter Paradise they say, "take me to Jesus." I can imagine the answer. "Who"? It boggles my mind how someone can claim they have a loving relationship with Messiah and not call him by his real name. It reflects a lack of interest in getting to KNOW him. I just hope I don't have to return this book. Should there be a need to upgrade my 3-Star rating I will do so.

This book is excellent in substantiating the narrative with research included in the footnotes.
