Our Cavapoo puppies love this! We use a small spoonful at a time to augment their kibble. Consistency is similar to a thick stew, and there are a variety of flavors. We use the chicken formula. You can see the peas, potato chunks, and meat in the stew. Pups haven’t had any trouble digesting, and it doesn’t upset their tummies. Happy with this purchase!

My 7 week old Chorkie just inhaled his first serving of the Hill's Science Diet Puppy Chicken & Vegetables. He likes the beef and barley, but it takes him two to three times at the bowl to finish it. He finished the Chicken & Vegetables in one sitting, and then chased the bowl. It's expensive, but well worth it.

These little packets are small and expensive. My puppy devoured these but always had horrible diarrhea afterwards. I can't tell you if it tastes good. Something about not for human consumption. The odor? Compared to what prime rib or kibbles n bits? The puppy prefers dry food not wet.

Bought this for my puppy, he so small and was having a hard time chewing dry food. He absolutely loves this food. I still throw a couple pieces of his dry food in there for crunchiness to help his teeth.

I really wanted this to work because Hill's Science Diet is a well-known and trusted brand, and the ingredients and concept seem great on paper. However, my Shih Tzu (under 10 pounds, 5 months old) wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. She sniffed it, walked away, and wouldn’t eat it — even when I tried mixing it with foods she usually loves. To be honest, she is extremely picky already at just 5 months old (probably the pickiest dog I’ve ever had), so this may work perfectly fine for other dogs. The texture is more like a soft stew with visible chunks, which some dogs might really enjoy. That said, considering the price, it’s a bit frustrating when it doesn’t work out. I ended up with multiple trays left and, since I can’t return it, I’ll likely donate the rest so it doesn’t go to waste. Overall, I still think it’s a quality product from a reputable brand — it just wasn’t the right fit for my dog. 3 stars — good quality, but not for picky eaters like mine.
