The straps on this helmet are unfortunately sewn in place, so that means your ears and chin must fall exactly as the model's do. This is the first helmet I've found where there were not plastic tabs by the ears that allowed a customized fit for the chin strap. The helmet itself was adjustable and I would have liked to keep it, but without being able t adjust the strap placement, it strangled me.

I don't know why the blue helmet was half-priced, that color must be discontinued, but it makes for a bargain. The helmet is comfortable and I love the large visor.

I bought this helmet to replace a previous model. This one is much easier to adjust and fits great. I also don’t have any dangling straps. When I received it, I noticed its manufacture date was from 2020. I was concerned whether it had any usable life left. The seller contacted the manufacturer for me and I was reassured that the usable life of the helmet is 3-5 years from first use and not manufacture. I verified this with a consumer reports article. I got my answers within 2 days. I would highly recommend both the product and the seller.
