It has the same exact high (super smelly!) chemical smell as the fun foam I use in my crafts only it’s thinner. Those cost about $.50 a sheet. The plastic box maybe utilizes $2 in materials and the lights are probably $1 a piece. Kudos to the creator of this product. It’s pure genius and a serious money maker. In all of the fairness it’s also not collapse. #2 there are no on or off switch, it is a hassle to plug and unplug the usb connector every time you need and done using it.
