The Hair Edit Epic Clip – Jumbo Hair Claw Clip With A Tortoise Finish

I’m obsessed with this hair clip! The tortoise shell print is adorable and the clip is a good quality to hold ALL of my thick long hair.

I don’t have thick hair but I have a LOT of fine hair. I can never find a clip that holds all of my hair and this one is amazing. My best friend has beautiful Asian hair (course, thick, etc.) and she loves it too!

This is a large clip and good for thicker hair. The color would look good in blonde and brunette hair. My 12 year old daughter wasn't a huge fan of the color, but she otherwise liked it.

This is now my favorite hair claw clip and here is why, it's big (5 inches long) but still light, you can feel that it's well made and has a great smoothness to it. The spring is the right tension where it's easy to open with one hand (because usually the other hand is being used to hold the hair up to be clipped) but strong enough to hold up a lot of hair. The edges are clean and completely smooth so no snags and also something I've never seen before is that the spring has protection!!! This is the part that usually gets damages and clips become useless so I love that this extra feature is added and am surprised why more clips don't have this. The print is also something that is neutral and can be used for work or casually going out. I have pretty long thick hair (a couple inches from my waist) and usually it's hard to find hair clips that will hold all of my hair up without risk of it falling down after moving around (which I do a lot of having a toddler). There have been some new hair styles for long hair that wraps the hair around the hair clips to make it like a faux bun but I find it easier to put up since I don't have to wind and twist my hair as much but most clips can't hold all of my hair inside the clip and then still have room to clip it up against my head. This clip definitely has the capacity to do this. I've taken a photo of it next to my next biggest hair clip and you can see that it's bigger and can hold a lot more. I love this clip and would highly recommend it to others.

I was so excited to wear this new cute claw clip. When it arrived the plastic was so smashed the claw clip teeth over lap and each side of the clip are two different depths. Therefore, the teeth don’t align nicely against the back of the head so therefore the clip is not getting a good grip with the hair to keep it tightly secured in your hair. Super disappointed.

I have long, very thick, very coarse hair which is *very* difficult to keep up comfortably. Most clips are too small and cannot contain all of my hair but this does the job. The shape is unique, a triangle with the flat part resting against my scalp it helps prevent discomfort from long term wear. I tried it with even holding up wet hair and my scalp was not aching immediately like it would be with other clips. The plastic is nice and thick and feels very premium and well made. I also love the pattern as it is fashionable and super cute and can be dressed up or down. I do wish there were little smaller spikes inside to help grab my hair a little tighter but it not a must.
