Very basic information, many examples applicable only to India, amateur author
I was surprised how basic the information in the book was. If you know absolutely nothing about finances, then this could be the book for you, but if you just heard some tips here and there you already know a lot from what this book will teach you. Another problem is that author uses often indian units like "lakh" or "crore" which tell nothing to the western world. Some numbers are written like this 1,000,00,000 - what's that two zeros?? I understand that author uses indian names in examples and that concrete examples are for Indian law and system, but this is again something for western reader to be aware of. Notice that many 5 star reviewers are Indian. Author seems to be new in book writing and many times the text is running in circles. In conclusion I was disappointed with this book. The most valuable thing this book brings to a person who knows to save and invest, pay off debt and not take many loans is the compilation of other people's quotes on the bottom of every page...
