10 Pairs Noise Reduction Ear Plugs

I can not believe the effectiveness of these ear plugs. Initially I just placed them in my ears...nothing. Then I gently pushed them in further, which is natural for any ear plugs, and voila, blocked external sound. They are soft and comfortable. Highly recommend. I'm buying a couple more pairs to give to friends and to be sure I pack with my travel bag, to always have on hand to block those annoying noises through hotel walls and corridors.

I purchased this item for the 40 dB noise reduction, however it did not reduce outside noise levels such as my partner's snoring. Upon examining the ear plugs, I noticed the baffles are VERY thin and flimsy, potentially explaining the limited noise reduction capabilities. Although these plugs are "rated" for 40 dB NRR, I do not believe it to be true. I have gone back to using my Surefire EP4 earplugs which are rated for 24dB and work well against snoring as well as gunfire, the only issue with the Surefire EP4 is that the plastic caps sometimes dig into my ear when sleeping.

5 Stars for effective noise cancellation and overall comfort.2 Stars for side sleeping comfort. It wasn't painful but it was too uncomfortable to allow me to sleep well.

Most of my reviews are Negative as i'm too lazy to spend the time to review a product that does what it is susposed to do. BUT, in this case i've been looking for Noise cancelling/reduction ear plugs that will block out low level talking. My wife talks or mumbles in her sleep. She doesn't even know she is doing it. After trying several foam types, some with advertised 30 db blocking . The result were to throw in the trash, If anyting they amplified the sound. Not really but there was no noticable decrease. These were a pick on Amazon, advertised a 40 db reduction.I received an email from the vendor before they arrived offering support , if needed and to make sure to follow instructions before using. I must say they are terrific. they block all noise at a guess 90%. low conversation is completely blocked. Normal only hear occasional words (supressed) now and then.I sleep using a BiPap so my breathing is louder(to me) than normal but does act as a white noise machine.There is one for right and one for left. Only comment is why hide the L and R on the inside of the plugs ?But I totally reccomend

These don't seem to block much sound. I had to push them in painfully deep to get it to seem quiet & they didn't block low frequency bass very well. I need something comfortable for side sleeping.

It was not very good at eliminating sound. Not even light breathing. It felt a little bulky if I decided to sleep on my side. I also used it on a plane. It muffled the sound a little but not enough to actually recommend it to other buyers.

I’ve only ever used the disposable kind of earplugs and they never quite fit my ear right, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with these. These earplugs are soft and easy to insert. They block out a lot of the background noise so it’s much easier to focus at work. I can still hear when someone is talking to me and could have a conversation of needed, but it blocks out unnecessary noises better than I was expecting and they seem comfortable enough to wear for a long time. Great purchase!

These war plugs work well and stay in your ears but do cut out most of the outside noise. If that's what your looking for than this is your plug. If you need to hear what's going on around you then this is not what you need. The quality is good and material is soft and plyable. I recommend these for substantial noise reduction only.
